An architect (Hyun Bin) is driving his woman (Su-jeong Lim), who is a publisher, to the airport and he tells that he intends to move to her house and his office in her basement to save money; however, she tells that she will leave him since she has met another man.
They are surprised by a storm and they stay trapped in her apartment. They find a cat in a hole in front of the apartment and the man rescues the animal. Soon their neighbors arrive in the apartment seeking for the cat, but the animal is hidden. Meanwhile they prepare dinner together.
"Saranghanda, Saranghaji Anneunda", a.k.a. "Come Rain, Come Shine", is a boring and inconclusive Korean movie about the process of separation of a young couple without kids. The movie is developed in extremely slow pace and does not have soundtrack and goes nowhere, despite the great interpretations of the lead couple. My vote is five.
Title (Brazil): Not Available.

As the other reviewer also has stated, this is a very toned down movie. There are no big emotions to be found here. It seems people are holding back what they are feeling. Which makes for a very appealing and compelling (strangely enough) viewing experience. Shot in a very still manner, it almost feels like it doesn't move forward at all sometimes. But you know it does.
I don't know if I am not a bit biased, because I do have a soft spot for Korean cinema anyway (though I do have some quarrels with a few movies), but I really liked this one. The performances match the narrative and the subtle nuances are there to be found. Not to mention that you can interpret a few things into the movie and it doesn't offer any real easy solutions (which again, I kinda like about it)

I'm not going to talk too much, because don't need to... 6.3 IMDB for this movie is very unfair, because situation is almost perfectly described and every single act or moment is making it's job (kitten, neighbors, rain, sun, TV, food and etc.). so if this situation is familiar for you, you gonna find that description is very close and almost perfect. so for me it's really good worked movie.
COME RAIN, COME SHINE (2011)
"Sometimes I should throw things out with no regrets." These are the most striking words for me which Hyun Bin uttered in this film. Made me think that perhaps he saw the break up coming that's why he was so calm and apathetic.
Gray, lonely and raw. The silence between the couple showed that their relationship was already in rough roads. I feel sad that they have no proper communication. I believe this really happens in some couple.
World's most civil breakup ever!
I give it a 3.75/5. Cinematography and script were just ok. I feel the actors(especially the wife) should have shown more body language or details with their eyes or hands to convey certain emotions.
I think the wife was having second thoughts at the end. What do you reckon?

How bad could it be I thought? LOL! Slowest movie I've ever seen, and with zero outcome. On top of the slowness, there was little light in the scenes. Movies with dark buildings super annoy me. Electricity is a great invention! Turn on some lights!!! I know it's all metaphorical, but it wouldn't hurt to give at least low lighting would it?! Can they not afford lighting?! We finally get a little maybe halfway through. Then there's the lost cat. They are clueless on how to find a cat. That would have added a little life--actually looking for it instead of sitting like bumps on a log. (insert eyeroll here.)
If there is a redeeming quality, it's gazing upon Hyun Bin. His hair is so beautiful!
