But as the film based on the hit Broadway musical premieres on Peacock this weekend, NBCUniversal’s marketing team has organized a corporate-wide campaign to make sure this “Wicked” window is as pop-you-lar as its theatrical run.

The arrival of “Wicked” on Peacock on Friday, March 21, is the culmination of what NBCU has dubbed “Wicked Week” to generate awareness of its availability on the streamer. GLAAD board members Frankie Grande and Peppermint are calling for more inclusivity and LGBTQ representation in reality TV series.

“While we’ve made impressive strides in LGBTQ visibility over the decades, the fact remains that for far too long now, reality shows too often include just one LGBTQ storyline or depend on a single LGBTQ cast member to represent an entire community of individuals and experiences,” Grande, Ariana Grande’s half-brother, and Traitors star and entertainer Peppermint said in an open letter signed by a host of other reality TV stars.

They cite popular unscripted series like Survivor, Big Brother, The Voice, American Idol, The Challenge and The Amazing Race for being held back by minimal LGBTQ representation. “This kind of storytelling is stale, archaic and does not truly reflect the vibrant and diverse queer community that exists in our country and LGBTQ communities around the world,” the duo added...

GLAAD board members Frankie Grande and Peppermint are among those who have penned an urgent letter to casting directors, producers and creatives behind reality TV to “take a bold step towards inclusivity.”

In the letter, Peppermint and Grande push for authentic representation that is reflective of the diversity of LGBTQ lives.

The competition is heating up on Season 27 of The Voice as the first night of Battles took place on Monday night (March 10), with the coaches pairing up their teams and bringing aboard celebrity advisors. Adam Levine, Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend, and Michael Bublé returned to the famous red chairs to judge the Battle performances, with each coach having one Steal and one Save available. And already, two coaches put their special powers to use. The episode saw Wicked star Cynthia Erivo mentoring Team Bublé, actress and singer Kate Hudson helping Team Adam, country stars Little Big Town assisting Team Kelsea, and actress Coco Jones counseling Team Legend. Things kicked off in a big way in the first Battle of the evening when Team Adam’s Britton Moore and Darius J went head-to-head with a performance of Radiohead’s “Creep.” It was a fierce battle, but Levine ultimately chose Moore as the winner.

Robbie’s movie may not have been a box office smash, but steadily drumming up global word of mouth, even from people who have never heard of Take That. While the film is a traditional biopic in that it tells the singer’s life story, it also comes with one very bizarre caveat.

Instead of an actor playing Robbie (or the man even playing himself), the singer is portrayed as a CGI anthropomorphic chimpanzee, making it seem more like a Planet of the Apes film rather than Walk the Line.

As The Voice began Season 27’s Battles Monday, with Cynthia Erivo, Coco Jones, Little Big Town and Kate Hudson aboard as advisers to Michael Bublé, John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini and Adam Levine, respectively, the coaches’ questionable decisions started, too. The Top 48 contestants will be competing in the Battles, which begin with the Monday (March 10) episode.

The four coaches – John Legend, Michael Buble, Kelsea Ballerini, and Adam Levine – all have 12 contestants on their teams right now. Each coach is given one save and one steal during this round. This allows them to save one artist who they’ve eliminated and to steal an artist who has been eliminated by a different coach.

32 artists will be advancing to the Knockouts.

The Battles round on the current season of The Voice is about to begin and each of the coaches will be joined by a celebrity guest mentor for this round!

During the Battles, coaches select two artists from their team to go head-to-head in a singing match. The coach is tasked with selecting one artist to advance and one to go home.

Each coach is given one save and one steal during this round. This allows them to save one artist who they’ve eliminated and to steal an artist who has been eliminated by a different coach.

The guest mentors help the coaches in the rehearsal room before the performances!

NBC is officially confirmed to air another new episode 6 of The Voice tonight, March 10, 2025, and it's going to feature the very first round of the Battles portion of this current season 27. NBC's official episode 6 press release is telling us that the celebrity coaches/judges: Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini and John Legend are going to bring on some superstar battle advisors to help prepare their contestants for a battle event. The battle event will feature two contestants from one of the teams getting pitted against each other in a sing-off. They will perform the same song together onstage. After that, the coach of that team will decide who won the battle.

The Voice continues with the battle rounds on Monday’s (March 10) episode, and Britton Moore is one of the talented singers who will be taking the stage. The team Adam Levine artist will be going head-to-head with Darius J. Britton’s blind audition performance of “Yellow” received more than 1.5 million views on YouTube, making him one of the most popular contestants of Season 27 so far. Prime Video is to stream Seasons 1-7 of President Donald Trump’s competition show The Apprentice.

Each season of the show, which launched 20 years ago on NBC and popularized the phrase “You’re fired!”, will roll out weekly, with Season 1 launching today. Seasons will roll out until April 27.

The Apprentice, which comes from Emmy winner Mark Burnett and MGM Alternative, which is part of Amazon MGM Studios, will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in the U.S. only.

The program is considered a launch pad for Trump’s media personality in the States, starting back in January 2004 and averaging 20 million viewers in Season 1, which took 28 million for its finale. The series ran for 15 seasons in total, with Trump the host for the first 14. Arnold Schwarzenegger fronted the fifteenth and final run in 2017.
