The beginning of this movie is reminiscent of the death of Elisa Lam, where video footage showed her displaying unusual behavior in an elevator of the Cecil Hotel before her disappearance. She was ultimately found in one of the water tanks on the roof. It is unknown how she was able to get in on her own.
This is actors Dylan Sprayberry (Hutch) and Khylin Rhambo (Kelvin) second project together. They were previously in Teen Wolf (2011-2017) together as Liam Dunbar and Mason Hewitt, respectively.
This is the second time actors Ally Ioannides (Alice and Aramis Knight (JJ) starred together. They also appeared in Into the Badlands (2015 - 2019) as Tilda and MK respectively.
