Wish i could give it a lesser score... but unfortunately i have to give a whopping 1 for this shocking film.
calling an RX7 a MX5/MX7 which is totally a different car, the rx7 seems to some how magically transform into a s14, which repeats the same drift scene 500 billion times.
The producers could have put a little more effort into making this film.
Absolutely shocking.
They seem to have no clue about what they're talking about.
Those crash scenes are worse than need for speed graphics.
actors are shocking. watching this was the biggest waste of time.
I registered just to write a review before someone else becomes a victim of this sh*t movie.

I will be the first to tell you how incredibly bad this "movie" is. I watched it with no expectations so when it was over I wasn't upset with how horrible this movie was! The actors are weak at their best point when they can remember a line. The cars, what you really see of them are OK, there's only 3 or 4 so don't get excited. Although I am a little offended where the people who made this "car" movie didn't think anyone would notice a green RX7 turn into a green 240SX S14. Also one of the main cars is a SKYLINE GTR, not a GTR. Skylines were RHD. This one was not. It pisses me off when people make car movies for car people and think that we wont notice details. The car chases and crashes look like clips from need for speed, but not as good. I know every car nut is gonna watch this movie anyway because it looks like a Fast & Furious type movie. Which I guess it is on $1000 budget at most. I gave this 1/10 because that was the lowest I could go, more like .5/10. So watch if you have absolutely nothing to do, and I mean nothing and write a review.

This Movie Sucks, The acting, The quality, The story which is nonexistent, ALL TERRIBLE!! Holy crap if I can save you one hour and a half movie session this would be it. I have actually loved some movies that people gave bad reviews so I have a very broad spectrum of acceptance when it comes to movies. This one on the other hand I could have filmed with my cell phone at a McDonald's parking lot. It's just crap, they just took what every other racing movie had and tried to copy them with no effects and crappy actors. I don't know what else I could possibly tell you to describe what this is not going to do for you.

Wow, words cannot describe how bad this movie was. It is bar none, the worst movie I have ever seen and I am so glad I watched it! My friends and I couldn't stop laughing, if you know anything about cars, heck anything about real life, this pathetic movie will have you rolling for days.
It's so awesome because the movie is SO BAD it gives you a great perspective how even movies like Gigli aren't that bad.
This is THE worst movie I have ever watched, and I highly recommend people watch it, just for the experience alone.
This movie should never be forgotten, to any director or actor out there, if you are down on yourself about a bad movie or scene, watch this movie, it should put the idea of a bad scene or movie in a whole new light.

The computer graphics in the car scenes were so bad for a movie made this year that it totally disrupted me from the scene content itself because i was laughing so much! You will see that in some parts of the movie it looks literally like the movie cuts to someone playing a bad computer simulation. to top it off bad acting, weak characters and simple and stupid car tech talk that would have been better left unsaid. This is how it is, I too joined just to comment on how bad this movie is. If you want a cool car flick - then run the other direction. If you like to laugh at recycled crap pull up a very comfortable couch you may wake up 7 hours later if you don't have the option to fast forward.

While this maybe a movie for some people, it will not be enjoyed or loved by anyone who follows the fast and furious or any real racing/driving movie for that matter.
Along with acting, the characters are clearly fresh from b grade TV shows or other sources which required the ability to talk.
Using every trick they can to try and get some enjoyment, your dealing with strippers telling their sons to have a real life. People quoting "did i stutter" along with every other possible rip of they can use.
When they need to use 3d graphics just to make a car come to a halt.
This movie is not really suited for a single audience... using nudity means it will not work even for younger children who might not see the flaws..
When making a car movie, make it about the cars.. make the actors appear to know what a boost setup is... not just them saying 50 psi... nos, springs.
This movie will hurt any true car fan, as this is the only reason i have joined IMDb to warn others of this movie.
Notable Junk:
CG,,,, this is not even 3d studio max or anything on that level, the 3d used barely had texture rendering little alone any other effects... default gloss with nothing beyond a few 100 poly per model.
***CAR STOLEN DURING PRODUCTION*** Really..... think about this.... what does this say about the movie in general. little alone other things.

this movie amazed me so much that i really don't know how to start my review and even wondered if it worths people to write reviews.
first of all, the poor casting and the poor screenplay: both sons looked already over 20 yrs old, the elder brother even looked like reached the 30s, and their mother was still a stripper, a so-called exotic dancer in a strip nightclub? so lets figure out how it was possible that her 2nd son was eligible for a high school graduate applying for college? so suppose it was as the screenplay described, if her 2nd son was 18 yrs old, when did she have the first son? and her first son almost looked reaching 30.....well, unless she had her 1st son when she was 13 and had her 2nd son when she was....eh....well, 16? otherwise how could you accept that she was still able to do the job as a strip dancer? with two son looked and acted like in the 30 and 25, no matter how she tried, she'd in the age of 45 or 55, might hold the world record as the oldest striper still working every night.
this poor screenplay could even okayed into production only meant: the screenplay writer(s), the director and the producers didn't even know what the racing cars should be. they didn't even know what is what, just wanted to fool people to believe their movie was in the same genre and same level of 'fast and furious' or other less superior car racing movies. but it's not, it's pure garbage.
and as for the acting? well, one word to nail the coffin tight: 'horrible'! and i just wish that most of the actors in this movie would leave the movie industries asap, 'cause there's definitely no future in it, especially those two guys who played the brothers. they were just horrible to watch.
nothing worth reviewing further, kinda wasting time. i rest my case.

This movie had me sitting on the edge of my seat, the spot on car specs, the carefully thought out well placed quotes, the amazing car race scenes. You almost can't tell that half of this movie is cgi, and you definitely can't tell that the car the main character is driving changes while in the middle of a drift multiple times. For anyone looking for an action packed thriller, this is a must see!
Starring: Paul Logan & Janet T. Keijser. Directed by: Cole McKay. Pretty amazing effort at trying to steal the thunder of Fast Five. There was an actual story here about a man and his brother,Then the girlfriend and the mom have a journey to tell. The cars are realistic to having the power to race around downtown Burbank. Seems CGI is used for some of the trickier scenes,Like car crashes ,Etc
Paul Logan is playing a Bad Cop in this film and although believable as evil,Not something we want to see again. Janet Keijser adds to some unique scenes,When she plays the heroes mom as a stripper and hero has a girlfriend working at the same strippers club,Ummm
Ewwww ! Director is Cole McKay a stuntman's legend and possible shows what stunts are accomplished on a budget.
This movie actually has a lot of things going for it. A good hero car, an antagonist who appears quite untouchable in the R35, hot girls, and even a decent plot line.
The things which it doesn't have in it's corner are cheap special affects, lame writing, and b-movie casting. But even these things can be overlooked and the movie could have been enjoyable if it weren't for one huge flaw.
The attention to detail. Anyone who is into the import scene will want to literally scream at the blatant disregard and respect for the import scene. Here are just a few mistakes I can think of off the top of my head.
The 370z's specs and stats are completely wrong as is the price. While driving to the first race scene the older brother's car magically becomes an R35. The antagonist R35 has the same specs as the 370z's, nearly word for word.During the race between the older brother and the antagonist they are constantly overtaking each other, but it doesn't show when or where this happened. When the brother crashes he is now in a 350z, not a 370z. When the girl mechanic brings her "blueprints" for what she wants to do to the FD RX-7, it literally looks like a child from pre-school drew them. Why the hell would she show that trash? And the hero is all like "this'll work," LOL! While talking about the hero car and also in the junkyard they refer to the hero car as an MX-5, then when he visits the Mexican gang leader it's an RX-7. 8. The hero ask "can I take a look at it," referring to the crashed RX7 the Mexican gang leader has. He then lift up the tarp from the front of the car, looks for 3 seconds, and then says "well the NOS system is still intact." Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! Where the hell was the thing canister mounted? On the bumper? No wonder his car fell apart! While testing the RX7, the hero goes from an RX& to a 240sx with the same color pant. I mean really, thought you would slip that one by us huh?
Overall it's just a simple lack of attention to detail, and more over any care for the final product. The movie is awful, and I can't believe a movie company would release something this unpolished. Whoever made this movie should never be allowed to make another one, because from what I saw they just don't care about their own vision. Maybe working in the mailroom is more up their alley.

The CG is awful, the acting isn't all that good (for the most part.
The filmography is actually decent; I don't know anyone who could reproduce this movie with a $1000 budget. (I am a credentialed photographer for Formula Drift)
THE BAD:
-Since when is the RX7 called an MX5?
-Why does the green RX7 turn into a green S14?
-How is a 350Z an $80K car? Or even close to stock reach speeds of 190+? (sorry for not quoting here)
How on earth can you expect it to take on a GTR? (At least they were correct on what it was)
So basically, this movie sucks if you are a car person. And you probably won't be watching this if you aren't... But it's not like a bunch of kids just thew this together.

This movie is horrible on all levels. The story sucks, the animations for crashes and spinouts are absolutely terrible, the acting reeks, and even the driving during the races are sucky. BUT it is worth watching. This movie is entertaining on a sarcastic level. 200 mph is so bad that its fun to watch. All the cars are junkies, lemons, ricers, whatever you would call it, except the GTR. Even though almost every car racing movie has a GTR. I doubt that the people who wrote the script and chose the cars actually knew anything about them. The numbers and statistics that they were talking about were way off. For example, 180?? no way. The GTR can max out near 211. In fact during the entire movie, not one car or person came close to 200 miles per hour. This film is a Sunday night, a long day at work, hiding under the desk at school, and an airport layover movie. Not worth watching in any kind of theater. Although it is most entertaining because the mess ups and inconsistencies are so obvious. Not a good movie but it was amusing.

Even with low or no expectations, 200 M.P.H manages to have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. It is a very cheap-looking film, the editing is choppy and at times incomprehensible and the CGI effects are some of the worst of any movie I've seen, while the sound is muddled and the soundtrack manages to be both overbearing and repetitive. The dialogue is cheesy and banality at its worst, not helped by line delivery that is either flat or like the actors keep forgetting their lines(you can tell by the sluggish and awkward pacing of it). The story is so thin to the point of being non-existent and has no momentum or cohesion, while the car sequences have no excitement or fire and hindered further by the worst editing in the whole movie and effects so awful it begs belief. Much has been said about the ridiculous errors there are, and there's enough to make the largest Stephen King book seem comparatively short, and to the extent of a clear indication of the writers not doing any kind of research. It insults the intelligence, and that's even for those who are not as big an expert on cars as others, and credibility is next to nothing. Others have said that they feel like the same scene over again, and actually that is true. The movie does try to disguise it by using different cars each time but it doesn't work, you'll be shocked at how obvious it is. The direction has no style or character, in fact was there any direction here, and the acting especially from the leads is incredibly amateurish. The forgetting-of-lines-quality is just one of the problems, the complete lack of charisma, lack of chemistry and lack of involvement are just as bad. Overall, incredibly bad and even that doesn't cut the irredeemable awfulness that is 200 M.P.H. O/10(the lowest rating of all the movies I've seen in the past 4 months or so, mainly because of the effort of cutting down the times this rating has been given which actually is not very often with this viewer). First up let me just say this movie is incredibly flawed. Some parts of the movie, the editing is just way off. Some of the actors, especially the lead, the lead chick, and the mom had inconsistencies with their acting. In some scenes, they really shine whereas in others, I feel the direction was just off. The dude who plays Kayce, the antagonist of the film, is fun to watch but is never really established as a credible threat thanks to a pointless cat and mouse chase between him and the lead chick. Some scenes had really poor writing where you notice the characters tend to go in circles as far as conversation. I'm not sure whether that's the writer's fault or the actors not having their lines memorized.
But aside from those criticisms, this is a fun movie to watch. For a street-racing film it has a lot of heart and puts so much value in family and friendships. The lead guy has a great family and a posse whose got his back, made up of a hot mechanic, the funny token Asian guy, and another wacky guy to round out his group.
As an action film, don't expect F&F status, don't forget this is a low budget film made by the guys that did Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus. Big budget action films take many months to film, while low budget ones like these take like a month, maybe even just days. And for a low budget feature, it works. The cars and the chase scenes are cool and all female characters are strippers. Except one. But don't worry, she's the hot mechanic chick.

I could do a better movie with my Hot Wheels and Barbies. The plot was so full of holes, it looked like swiss cheese. Where was the advertised Datsun 280Z? Netflix's summary boasted of it, and a revenge theme, which was totally lost. No one did 200 mph. The facts about cars were totally off, you should have at least had a mechanic or 13 year-old car nut on the production staff. The garage was in the "ghetto"...but was stocked and clean. The RX-7 in the garage was a far better car than what the protagonist used in racing...why was it not utilized?? The CGI cars were worse than Need For Speed. If you want a better film, I recommend Pixar's Cars. I could go on, but it'd be a waste of time, like the movie.
