Blair Witch like with video logs for the end of the civilization.

While I love dysptopian end of the world dramas, so many are too boring to watch more than first five minutes.

This is NOT that sort of movie. It envisages a time of the climate gone wrong, and the northern hemisphere experiencing perpetual winter.

The hero is an everyman sort of guy, given a job to give ask residents of his small tiown to fill in a short survey on their health, a task he takes up with all the enthusiasm of 24 hour convenience store shelf stacker.

The impending catastrophe builds ever so slowly, the film is set at the delicious moment the world starts to collapse. Adding to this localised viewpoint, you see on-line video logs from narrators around the world describing the gradual decay of civilization, followed by rumors of an illness taking hold. All very reminiscent of the slow build-up from the Blair Witch Project. Now the questionnaire makes sense - only than people assume he knows more than he does, and go after him.

Awful in every respect - waste of time

I do not usually write reviews, but this film is so terribly bad that I feel compelled to warn others, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS.

No story line, horrific production values, no character development, no action either.

Truly the worst movie I have ever seen. Sorry but I cannot find any redeeming features in this god awful collection of random clips, forced one after another into a "film".

    Trash, but not good trash

Personally I love trash horror movies, especially found footage. But this isn't one of those unfortunate Prime titles that's advertised as a real movie when it's really just a poorly made title that's fun to watch. Oh no, this is one of those trash trash movies that just drags and you gives you a headache.

I'm only writing this to give balance to the directors / paid review that's also on here lol

Very low budget but very nicely done

Yes, there is very little money in the film, but the story is coherent, the acting good and keeping in mind it is a thirteen year old movie the Visual effects still hold up.

Is it perfect? Of course not, as it was probably made for a few thousand pounds.

But, it did manage to get and keep my attention far better than some multimillion tv shows or films.

The locations are grim and some of the events will feel very real for those who lived through the covid years.

Makes me want to see more recent work from that director to see how he progressed

I don't get the hate some micro budget films get.
