I don't know what on which drugs the other dude (reviewer) was or what movie he saw, 'cause the 3 Minute clip is the whole movie!!! And it's freaking awesome. This is what a wet dream of Robert Rodriguez must be look alike. Hot chicks, funky gadget and weapons. sleazy bad guys and mariachis (?) with chainsaws. What's not to love about it? Please give as more!!! Oh, and the music (which this one was probably all about) was pretty damn fine and fit that short flic like one of Diora Baird's glove! Damn fine! If there will be (I really, really hope so) a feature film result out of this, the "Black Keys" should score it with some fine hillbilly-rock, western-tunes!
I admit, I am disappointed it is _not_ at present a movie. Great send-up to classic B-movie tropes; Robert Rodriguez indeed. Impressive that the Black Keys were so stoic and able to resist..."they would not have me" said Alexa Wolff. I would like to see all of the actors take on more than the "trailer" or music video, but for some daring production company take the concept and RUN with it. However, apparently Grindhouse lost money, so perhaps not such a good bet. It would seem to me to go for the same movie with _lower_ budget; Evil Dead seems to have made it's nut. Perhaps Kevin Smith to direct? Nonetheless, a fun music video, better than Lady Gaga for me.
Left me wanting more. I was disappointed to learn it's just a 3 minute music video. Tricia Looks great!
I went to a screening of a movie without any real expectations as i never heard of it. But soon after the movie was over, a wealth of emotions overcame my very being. I can't say i have seen a better movie since Lawrence of Arabia when it first came out decades ago. Never have a movie transported me to such an immersible, dramatic and tense setting as this masterpiece i was fortunate enough to see. I really wish this movie came out a few months ago so it could have been a serious contender for the Academy Awards. But sadly it will be coming out at a time when movies just fall right out of the radar, guess it couldn't be helped. Definitely worth your twelve dollars when it comes out at an independent theater near you.
