Co-writer, executive producer, and series creator Joe Camp and co-writer and director Brandon Camp are father and son, but are no relation to mother and daughter Lacy Camp, who plays the policewoman, and Darby Camp, who plays Frankie.

Goofs
Detective Lyle is clearly mistaken about the "underground transport tunnels," which have windows, an obvious sign that this is an above-ground building entered at ceiling level. Also, low-lying New Orleans is known for its high water table; any hole in the ground quickly fills with water--hence the above-ground mausoleums like the ones at the cemetery Benji runs through. Water must be continuously pumped out of underground structures in New Orleans; decrepit abandoned tunnels would be perpetually flooded.

Beautiful!

These movies always make me cry. The opening scene shattered my heart completely. These babies how do they do it. People may say it's dark but this movie is amazing. It's pure love. It will definitely make you cry but it's worth a watch. Just watch it when you're ready to shed some tears.
