Lily (Mi Kwan Lock) a chinese girl full of the ancient traditions, meets Tom (Marc Michel), a painter at the point of death, who lives in Provence with his four models, the four seasons.

Although he's condemned by an incurable disease, the painter passes his love of life and dreams to this young woman. And through unexpected events that awake her senses, Lily will leave her good girl life to try to discover herself.

Founded on the theme of Â“resilienceÂ”, EMOTICON is about the meeting of two people apparently opposed, although they will help each other to cross an important step of their lives.

In this refined writing, Christian LARA portrays a metaphor of the emerging China (symbolized by the heroine Â«Â LilyÂ Â» ) facing old Europe (represented by Â«Â TomÂ Â» the painter).
