A bord du 'Formidable': escrime au sabre (1896)
A small group of men are doing a few tricks with swords. That's basically what you see in this early actuality film from the Lumiere company. Obviously if you're wanting to see something ground-breaking then you're not going to witness that here. With that said, this is a rather bland film even for an actuality. There's just nothing overly entertaining that you're looking at and the men's sword play just doesn't do much for you. In fact, I'd argue that this here is one of the weaker films that I've seen from the Lumiere Brothers.
