Caregiver

A student, for his project, interviews a kind caregiver lady. She is very nervous, intense knoks in door perturb the interview and the coherence of answers is altered.

It is obvious what is final but you are seduced by the fair craft and honest storytelling.

It starts as hommage for generosity, continues with memories about late mother and the father becomes a mysterious figure.

The acting and the dialogue and the Advent crown on door are basic pieces making this short horror a good kick to reflection.

Inspired crafted tension, beautiful image of emotions. And an old fashion end . In short, a naif student and a woman under pressure to help the loved ones.

"Caregiver" is a neat little horror short with a runtime of just 4 minutes. The film centers on two characters: a young man interviewing a young woman for his class project. They appear to be at her place, but there may be something else lurking nearby-something sinister the young man is completely unaware of.

What happens next is, unfortunately, quite predictable for us as the audience, though it comes as a complete surprise to him. Despite the simple and straightforward plot, the acting is quite good for a short film like this, and the sinister creature is portrayed in a convincing and effective way.
