Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) – What Happened to This Sci-Fi Thriller Movie?
Image
While filming Piranha II: The Spawning, director James Cameron had a fever dream that would lead to him creating a slasher horror science fiction epic called The Terminator. The film would defy all odds, grossing nearly $80 million dollars on a $6.4 million dollar budget. Putting the world on notice that both Cameron and his star, Arnold Schwarzenegger had arrived. How do you top that? I guess you make arguably the greatest action movie of all time, and one of the greatest films to ever grace a movie screen in general. This is the story of what the f*ck happened to Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

One thing Judgment Day has in common with all other sequels in the franchise, is that the story begins with a battle for the rights. This story included an almost physical fight between Cameron and Hemdale Production Company’s John Daly after Daly attempted to alter...

Jon Stewart Addresses Trump’s Election Win: “This Isn’t Forever”
Image
Jon Stewart went deep on presidential campaign analysis in his first time back at The Daily Show since Donald Trump’s election win.

“It turns out the election was stolen by more people voting for Donald Trump,” Stewart quipped on Monday night. “It’s quite a caper.”

In his 15-minute monologue, Stewart played a barrage of clips from Democratic pundits and strategists analyzing Trump’s win. “It’s a delight to hear about why it happened from so many people who were so wrong about what was going to happen,” he joked.

Stewart then addressed theories that Democratic campaigns were “too woke,” playing clips from news programs this week alleging that the left was too concerned with politically correct virtue signaling to successfully win an election.

“I only have one problem with the woke theory,” Stewart said. “I just didn’t recall seeing any Democrats running on woke shit.”

The...

Dominic Monaghan at an event for 2009 American Music Awards (2009)
New Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker standees gives us our best look yet at some new characters. The Force Friday event revealed toy tie-ins for the upcoming movie. However, we now have official promotional images of the characters, which look a lot better than their toy counterparts. All of the usual suspects are featured, including Rey, Poe, Finn, Kylo Ren, Hux, R2-D2, and more. In addition, our first look at Dominic Monaghan's mysterious character is included, which the actor shared over the weekend.

A new Resistance Mon Calamari is pictured in The Rise of Skywalker promo images. We don't have the character's name, but he will obviously be fighting alongside The Resistance like General Ackbar and Raddus before him. Also included is the mysterious Boolio, who was first shown in the Millennium Falcon Lego set. Again, we don't know a whole lot about him, but it is...

Lethal Weapon actor Danny Arroyo tests for G.I. Joe 2 as casting gets under way
Casting is under way for the next movie in the G.I. Joe franchise.

Just recently, a report claimed that former X Factor winner Shayne Ward had tested for an unspecified role.

It's now been confirmed to us that auditions are indeed happening for this next film, G. I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes.

We are hearing that among the actors who have read for one of the new roles in the script is Danny Arroyo (pictured).

The G.I. Joe action figures have featured in comics and cartoons and Arroyo is a huge fan of geek culture including sci-fi and superheroes.

An ambassador for The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, which helps people with paralysis, Arroyo's credits include Lethal Weapon 4, The Resistance TV series, the kooky comedy Repo Chick and horror thriller Kill Katie Malone.

Danny is currently filming the main lead role in a Christmas family movie called Santa's Dog.
