This Day That Year: Subhash K Jha On 10 Years Of Dharam Sankat Mein
Image
Subhash K Jha takes a look back at 10 Years of Dharam Sankat Mein in another terrific installment of This Day That Year.

After the furor created over Rajkumar Hirani’s take on religion in his film Pk, it was decided by the Central Board Of Film Certification (Cbfc) that all films dealing with the sensitive issue of religion would be certified only after all misgivings are cleared. Keeping in view the sensitivity of the religious satire Dharam Sankat Mein, the Censor Board invited a Muslim and a Hindu religious expert as jury members to avoid any confusion or controversy over the content.

Dharam Sankat Mein is the official remake of the 2010 British comedy The Infidel directed by Josh Appignanesi. In the film, Omid Djalili starred as a British Muslim who discovers he was born of Jewish parentage. The role is played by Paresh Rawal in the remake.

It Took 1 Year and 3 Months to Complete a 4 Second Animation From Hayao Miyazaki’s Oscar Nominated Film
Image
Animation is an art that thrives on patience, attention, and dedication. But even in this most precise craft, there are scenes that require almost unimaginable levels of hard work. One such scene exists in The Wind Rises (2013), a film directed by Studio Ghibli’s legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki.

The movie is a semi-biographical tale of Jiro Horikoshi, the aeronautical engineer behind Japan’s WWII fighter planes, and is filled with breathtaking visuals and intricate details. But among its numerous jaw-dropping scenes, one stands out, not for its duration, but for the sheer dedication it took to bring it to life.

This particular scene from The Wind Rises took 15 months to animate. | Credit: Studio Ghibli

Can you believe it? One of the four-second scenes featuring a wild crowd of people took a whopping one year and three months to animate! This achievement proves just how dedicated Miyazaki is to hand-drawn traditional...

David Lynch's 'The Elephant Man' Is Incredibly Heartbreaking
Image
Quick Links What Is 'The Elephant Man' About? Lynch Deconstructed Disability Narratives With 'The Elephant Man' 'The Elephant Man' Is Pure David Lynch

One of the all-time greats has left us. David Lynch, a master of surrealist and abstract cinema, sadly passed away this week at the age of 78. To put it simply, he had a style all his own, defined by dream logic and a deft mix of psychological terror with dark humor, and he was arguably one of the only contemporary filmmakers who could genuinely be called a “visionary.” On top of directing some of the greatest movies of all time, namely Blue Velvet and Mulholland Dr., he was also the genius behind Twin Peaks, one of the most influential TV shows in history.

Yet maybe Lynch’s most underrated work of all was one of his first and one of his most straightforward.

Back in Action Review — A Formulaic Misfire That Wastes Cameron Diaz’s Comeback
Image
New year, new streaming movies to watch from the comfort of home. Back in Action is Netflix’s first big release of 2025, with a premise based on a simple espionage concept in which the protagonists, Matt and Emily, played by Jamie Foxx (They Cloned Tyrone) and Cameron Diaz (Charlie’s Angels), respectively — marking the actress’ return to the big screen ten years after her last performance — find their secret identities exposed, putting their lives in danger.

Directed by Seth Gordon (Baywatch) and written by Gordon himself and Brendan O’Brien (The House), expectations weren’t particularly high, with hopes for a couple of enjoyable hours resting solely on the lead actors’ chemistry. Unfortunately, the year doesn’t start on the right foot, as Back in Action is potentially one of the worst films of the next twelve months. The cast tries their best, but the forced, cheesy dialogue causes plenty of eye...

Check out gorgeous new illustrations from the world of ice and fire

Ten years ago, an excyclopedia of sorts dedicated to exploring the mythology behind George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, adapted by HBO as Game of Thrones, hit bookshelves: The World of Ice and Fire is still a go-to resource for superfans to this day.

The authors of The World of Ice and Fire, Elio García and Linda Antonsson, worked with Martin himself to put together The World of Ice and Fire and later The Rise of the Dragon, which is a companion book to Martin's book Fire & Blood. To celebrate the anniversary of The World of Ice and Fire, they commissioned several artists to create work that could have gone into that book, and published them on their website Westeros.org.

For your perusing pleasure this Wednesday, enjoy this artwork, starting with a rendering of Sunfyre, the dragon ridden by King Aegon II Targaryen during the Dance of the Dragons,...

The Strongest Dragon Ball Super Characters Supreme Kai Can Beat
Image
Dragon Ball Super has done an excellent job at taking Akira Toriyamas signature shonen series and pushing it to unprecedented heights through the introduction of new characters, transformations, and a whole multiverse of obstacles to conquer. Dragon Ball Super has helped incorporate celebrated ideas like Ultra Instinct, the Super Dragon Balls, and the Tournament of Power, but its also reinvigorated Shins Supreme Kai role by tethering his lifeline to Universe 7s God of Destruction Beerus.

Shin may now serve a more important role in Dragon Ball Supers broader deconstruction of the multiverse, yet hes still someone whos often pushed to the sidelines, despite his prolific power. Dragon Ball Daima is prepared to give Shin his due when he and Goku fearlessly journey into the Demon Realm. Shins important role in Dragon Ball Daima has audiences excited to reexamine the East Supreme Kais power, especially when its placed in the context...

Remember When Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, Channing Tatum & Oscar Isaac Did a Movie Together?
Image
Despite giving us a hilarious Chris Pratt, a singing Oscar Isaac, an infinitely charming Channing Tatum, and an intriguing character and performance from Aubrey Plaza, 10 Years did not fare well at the box office, nor did it generate a significant following. On the surface, one could easily assume that this is a shallow, run-of-the-mill, ensemble high school reunion picture. That assumption isn't necessarily wrong, nor is it undoubtedly right. Jamie Linden's debut flick 10 Years is formulaic in its approach to its plot, and there is not much to be desired about its cinematic achievements, if any at all. However, there is an endearing quality to its weaving of each individual's stories, bringing waves of emotions for viewers to enjoy while reminiscing the days of their youthful rowdiness.

Jimmy Kimmel: “I Don’t Know If There Will Be Any Late-Night Shows On Network TV In 10 Years”
Image
Jimmy Kimmel spent much of 2022 vacillating as to whether he would continue hosting his eponymous late-night before striking a new, three-year deal.

The host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! revealed that one of the reasons he signed this deal was that he is “worried” about what he’ll do next.

But a bigger concern for the late-night world is that Kimmel doesn’t think there will necessarily be any late-night shows on network television in 2034.

“I don’t know if there will be any late-night television shows on network TV in ten years. Maybe there’ll be one but there won’t be a lot of them,” he said on the Politickin’ podcast. “There’s a lot to watch and now people can watch anything at anytime, they’ve got all these streaming services. It used to be Johnny Carson was the only thing on at 11:30pm and so everybody...

My Hero Academia Almost Never Happened: Horikoshi Reveals How His Editor Stopped Him From Quitting The Industry
My Hero Academia (2016)
In a recent interview with Nippon TV’s news zero, Kohei Horikoshi made a surprising revelation regarding My Hero Academia as the manga wrapped up its 10-year run on Aug 5, 2024.

During the interview, Horikoshi revealed that My Hero Academia almost didn’t happen, as he considered quitting manga after two of his previous series Oumagadoki Zoo and Barrage, were cancelled due to low readership.

However, it was only the encouragement of his editor that convinced him to give it one more try, a decision that would ultimately lead to the creation of one of the most popular manga in the world.

“I had two series canceled, and I thought, ‘I’m done with manga.’ The editor in charge at that time told me, ‘Don’t give up,’ and ‘Do your best,’ so I thought, ‘Let me try one more time,’ and I decided to draw it with all the things...

Im Now Convinced Chris Evans Is Returning To The MCU As Captain America
Image
Warning! This article contains spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine.

Chris Evans is likely to return as Captain America in upcoming MCU movies due to recent major updates in the franchise. Avengers: Endgame saw Mackie's Sam Wilson take on the Captain America mantle from Evans' Steve Rogers. Marvel is making bold casting decisions for upcoming Avengers movies with Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, and that could make Evans' Captain America return easier.

Despite what Chris Evans might say, I believe he is coming back as Captain America in the coming years. Evans is one of the most important actors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and my personal favorite. His Captain America was a constant presence during the McU's best period, the Infinity Saga. From 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger his MCU debut to 2019's Avengers: Endgame his latest outing as Steve Rogers Evans appeared in at least one MCU movie a year.

Gibbs' Best NCIS Team Just Had A Reunion After 10 Years & I Really Wanted Mark Harmon To Join Them
Image
NCIS reunion with Sean Murray, Michael Weatherly, and Cote de Pablo after 10 years sparks nostalgia among fans longing for the original core cast dynamics. The Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch episode is a reminder of how great they are together as a group, but it also highlights how better it could have been if Mark Harmon joined them. Harmon's return to the NCIS universe in the upcoming prequel, NCIS: Origins offers hope for a possible appearance on the podcast for promotional and nostalgic purposes.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs' best NCIS team just had a fun reunion after 10 years, and now I desperately want Mark Harmon to join them. Police procedurals have always been good for long-form storytelling. Some of the longest-running scripted series fall in the category, including NCIS, which is about to enter its 22nd season. One big drawback with this is the tendency to regularly lose cast members over the years.

Film Review: Ten Years Myanmar (2023) by Various Directors
Image
Following on the success of the “10 Years” series which features Thailand and Hong Kong editions among others, comes the latest iteration which sees five Burmese filmmakers coming together to conceptualize on the future they envision for their country. The anthology series of five short films is a visual package of this combined thought space, packaged in stylistic arthouse omnibus which is “10 Years Myanmar”.

Ten Years Myanmar is screening at Taiwan International Documentary Film Festival

The first film is “A City of Bougainvillea” by Thaiddhi. A blossoming love between a young couple sees them enjoying sweet nothings atop the city heights. But there is an uncomfortable silence in the air- for the boy might not even be real. The movie that starts of the anthology is perhaps the most poignant one. A morose and dark take on identity and belonging, which is rife with symbolism and leaves a lot to interpretat.

Russell Crowe's Sequel To $77M Movie Is More Important When Seeing His 10-Year Box Office Trend
Image
Russell Crowe may be facing a career slump with recent box office disappointments, but The Pope's Exorcist marked a commercial hit. Crowe's potential return as Father Amorth in The Pope's Exorcist 2 could offer a chance for the actor to regain lost box office success. Horror films like The Pope's Exorcist are able to achieve commercial success despite mixed reviews, making this sequel a promising opportunity for Crowe.

A potential sequel to a recent $77 million Russell Crowe movie could be important for his career, given his box office trends of the past decade. The Australian actor made it big in Hollywood in the 1990s with hit roles in Gladiator, L.A. Confidential, and more, earning him an Academy Award and recognition as one of the world's biggest stars. With many of Russell Crowe's best movies in the past, he's still starring in films in his post-peak career, though many have been low-budget and poorly reviewed.

Dragon Ball Z Characters Who Upgraded In Dragon Ball Gt
Image
Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball has confidently lasted the test of time, yet 1996 was a controversial year for the franchise with Dragon Ball Gt’s debut. Developed as a sequel series to Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Gt received minimal involvement from Toriyama and was largely championed by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Gt was designed to harken back to the more playful and light-hearted adventures of the original Dragon Ball and the anime goes so far as to even transform Goku back into a child through a rogue Dragon Ball wish. This pivot lost many fans and Dragon Ball Gt remains the shortest Dragon Ball series to date, with only 64 episodes.

Dragon Ball Super’s alternate version of events has also led many to believe that Dragon Ball Gt isn’t even part of the franchise’s official canon and that it’s meant to be viewed as more of a fascinating “What If?...

The Boy And The Heron Teaser Gives Us A Look At Hayao Miyazaki's First Film In 10 Years
Image
"The Boy and the Heron" was released in Japan back in July, and it had one of the greatest marketing strategies of all time, in my opinion. There was one poster featuring a close-up drawing of a white and blue heron that had oddly human eyes peeking out from its beak. And that was it. No string of publicity stills, no trailers, no TV spots. Nothing. You had a poster, a release date, and that name Hayao Miyazaki, one of the most beloved filmmakers on the planet supposedly making his final film. The gambit paid off, and the film is doing splendidly in Japan.

I was hoping that this marketing tactic would be adopted around the world, but that isn't the case. We now have a few stills from the movie, like the one seen above, and now, we even have a teaser trailer for Miyazaki's latest. As someone who...

George R.R. Martin, who created the Song of Ice and Fire franchise upon which HBO's Game of Thrones series is based, explained which episode of the show he wrote is actually his favorite.

Writing on his personal Not a Blog, the author noted that the Season 2, Episode 9 chapter "Blackwater" is most beloved script out of the four that he penned for the series. According to Oricon, the movie will premiere on July 14 in Japan in various formats, including IMAX. This will make How Do You Live? the very first project from the iconic and award-winning studio to get an IMAX release.

This news isn't the only notable aspect of How Do You Live?'s debut; the film has not and will not receive any promotion beyond the teaser visual that dropped in December 2022. In a recent interview, Studio Ghibli President Toshio Suzuki discussed the unusual marketing decision. "Really, it's an issue of over-supply. From the perspective of the viewer, it's like they're taking away all the truly interesting parts. So,...

‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ Plummets 69% to $32 Million in Second Weekend at Box Office
Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Paul Rudd, Kathryn Newton, Evangeline Lilly, Jonathan Majors, and Jamie Andrew Cutler in Ant-Man et la Guêpe : Quantumania (2023)
After its strong opening weekend, Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” is shaping up to be a historically frontloaded superhero film at the box office, plummeting 69% in its second weekend to $32 million.

Given its mixed reviews and audience reception, analysts and rival distributors were not expecting the third “Ant-Man” movie to make more than $40 million this weekend. But barring a much stronger-than-expected Sunday, this movie will have the largest second-weekend drop in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the largest drop for any superhero movie with a $100 million-plus opening since the 69.6% drop of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” in 2016.

With a 10-day total of $164 million, “Quantumania” should have enough momentum to cross the $200 million mark at the domestic box office. But with such a steep drop it is now questionable whether the film will have enough fuel against stiff March blockbuster competition to even pass the...

Tales From The Box Office: 10 Years Ago The Avengers Redefined Blockbuster Filmmaking

(Welcome to Tales from the Box Office, our column that examines box office miracles, disasters, and everything in between, as well as what we can learn from them.)

There are moments in cinema history that, when it really comes down to it, are part of a relatively small collection of moments that helped to truly define movies as we know them. The kind of moment that both feels big in the moment and gets even bigger with some time spent reflecting upon it.

One of those moments celebrated its tenth anniversary this week, as Marvel's "The Avengers" first hit theaters in...

Opening on February 25 through VDirect International, the feature crossed $530,000 (Nt$15m) on March 7 at the Taiwanese box office. For comparison, this year’s Chinese New Year box office champion My Best Friend’s Breakfast has grossed $2.4m (Nt$68m) since January 28.

Exiled Artists Launch Hong Kong Film Festival in the U.K.
Image
Hong Kong protest films “Revolution of Our Times” and “May You Stay Forever Young” will have their British premiere in March at a new film festival organized by artists and culture sector workers who have relocated to the U.K.

Ng Ka-leung, a producer and director of Hong Kong dystopian anthology “Ten Years,” and documentary filmmaker and writer Wong Ching, co-curators of Hong Kong Film Festival U.K. 2022, said the festival is more than just about screening films that can no longer be shown in their hometown due to political changes.

It is organized by Hong Kong Umbrella Community, a U.K.-based body co-founded by Nathan Law, a former Hong Kong lawmaker who is now living in exile in Britain. The inaugural edition of the festival is funded by private donors, but event organizers hoped to raise funds from other sources for future editions.

The U.K., Hong Kong’s former colonial master,...

Channing Tatum and his producing partner Reid Carolin aren’t just the brains — and brawn — behind “Magic Mike.” They’ve built up their company Free Association into a place to go for innovative storytelling, including the road trip movie “Dog” (which opens on Feb. 18), which they co-directed; the Starz TV series “Step Up: Highwater”; and the thriller “Pussy Island,” which will be Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut.

“I think it’s a good partnership,” says Steven Soderbergh, who is directing “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” which Tatum will star in and Carolin wrote. “I think they have a shared sense of people and how the world works.”

Tatum and Carolin speak to Variety about Free Association.

How did the two of you meet?

Channing Tatum: Reid wrote the first version of a movie that I was in called “Stop-Loss,” and then he assisted the director, Kimberly Peirce. And so we...

‘Revolution of Our Times,’ ‘The Falls’ Triumph at Golden Horse Film Awards
Image
“The Falls,” Taiwan’s Oscar contender and a timely drama about the trauma of home quarantine, emerged as the unsurprising winner at the Golden Horse Film Awards in Taipei on Saturday.

And, in a bold decision that has the potential to enrage Mainland Chinese authorities, the prize for best documentary feature was awarded to “Revolution of Our Times.” The film chronicles the brutality of the political crackdown on the streets of Hong Kong in 2019 and 2020.

“The Falls,” which debuted at the Venice Film Festival in September, tells the tale of a mother and daughter cooped up in an apartment during a quarantine. It is directed by Chung Mong-hong, who previously directed “Parking” and “A Sun.”

At the award ceremony “The Falls” earned four prizes, including best narrative feature, best original screenplay, best actress and best original score.

The Golden Horse Film Awards are in their 58th edition and for many...

Film Review: Happy Together (1997) by Wong Kar-wai
Image
Twenty years ago, on July 1st 1997, the UK handed-over sovereignty of Hong Kong back to China, with a fifty years grace period, before Chinese laws would take effect. With this being the case, Shanghai-born Hong Kong resident Wong Kar-wai went to great lengths to ensure his latest work, “Happy Together”, was released before this date, although his reasons may not appear clear at face value.

“Happy Together” is screening at Five Flavours Asian Film Festival

Tony Leung Chui-wai and Leslie Cheung star as Lai and Ho respectively: a gay couple travelling across Argentina, somewhat lost of direction, winding up in Buenos Aires in low paid jobs. Their hope is to reach the Iguazu Falls in the north of the country, but the lack of funds and the constant bickering in their on-off relationship prevents them from ever reaching a happy ending. As their time in Buenos Aires continues, the pair...

Hong Kong Passes Film Law Allowing Censorship on National Security Grounds
Image
Hong Kong legislators on Wednesday approved an amended law that will allow film censorship on the basis of national security considerations. It does not cover the online screening of movies, though a government minister described that omission as a “loophole.”

The revision to the law is the latest operation to tighten the government grip on civil society, artistic and speech freedoms in the country.

The city’s legislative council — in which there are no opposing forces — amended the Film Censorship Bill by a show of hands to give movie censors the task of vetting content for violations of a draconian national security law written and imposed by Beijing in July 2020.

The National Security Law bans anything that is deemed to be or incite secession, subversion, terrorism and collusion with foreign forces. Under the film censorship amendment, violators screening unauthorized films may face punishments including fines up to $129,000 (Hk$1 million) and three years in prison.

Illegal Film Screenings to Be Punished With Three-Year Jail Terms Under Hong Kong Censorship Law
Image
Hong Kong is to introduce a new film censorship law that could send anyone responsible for illegal screenings to jail for up to three years. Offenders could also be liable to a Hk$1 million fine.

The new law is intended to codify national security concerns that were introduced into the city’s film classification ordinance as recently as June.

The moves were announced by the government’s commerce secretary Edward Yau at a press conference on Tuesday.

As well as codifying the Film Censorship Authority’s powers and duties regarding national security, the new law will allow the government to appoint an official representative to the Board of Review and do away with non-official members.

It will also cancel a film distributor or exhibitor’s right to appeal against a board decision if the decision is made on national security grounds.

Although the government has said that the July 2021 National...

Director of Controversial Cannes Documentary ‘Revolution of Our Times’ Sells Off Rights to Hong Kong Protests Film
Image
Kiwi Chow, the Hong Kong-based director of the controversial “Revolution of Our Times” documentary that screened on the penultimate day of the Cannes Film Festival, says he has disposed of his interests in the film.

“Revolution,” which takes its title from a pro-democracy protest slogan, chronicles the popular uprising in Hong Kong that started in mid-2019 and the government’s strongarmed suppression of the movement. Cannes gave the film its world premiere towards the end of the festival and without any fanfare in order to minimize any possible diplomatic reaction that would hurt Chinese filmmakers present at the fest or impact the ongoing events. The public reaction from Beijing has been muted.

Chow said on Thursday, however, that he has sold the copyright of “Revolution of Our Times” to a European distributor. He said he has also disposed of all his footage from the 150-minute picture.

“It’s a kind of risk assessment.

Cannes Report Day 10: Can ‘Red Rocket’ Star Simon Rex Win Best Actor?
Sean Baker and Aiden Noesi in Prince of Broadway (2008)
Check out TheWrap’s digital Cannes magazine issue here. You can find all of TheWrap’s Cannes coverage here.

Sean Baker’s “Red Rocket” proved to be another highlight in this year’s Cannes Film Festival, but the person earning real raves is the film’s star, Simon Rex.

American audiences might better know him as Dirt Nasty from the “Scary Movie” franchise of films, but critics have called him “terrific” and “sensational” and said that he has earned his “Uncut Gems” moment for his performance as a washed-up porn star who is trying to groom a younger girl in the art. One Twitter user even suggested that Cannes should award him the Best Actor prize for his work.

“Give Simon Rex the Best Actor award. Sean Baker is a national treasure. I was glued to his twisted red state Americana vision for almost its entire two hours,” critic Jordan Ruimy wrote.

Cannes Takes Diplomatic Gamble, Gives Late Festival Slot to ‘Revolution of Our Times’ Hong Kong Protest Feature
Image
In a late move, the Cannes Film Festival has announced the addition of a new film to its official line-up. The documentary, “Revolution of Our Times,” depicts recent political and social events in Hong Kong, and will play on Friday in a special screening.

Cannes this year is chock full of issue-led programming about climate change, crises in Africa, diversity and equality. Few topics are as pressing or complex as the ideological clash between the liberal west and China’s modern brand of Communist-badged totalitarianism.

The front line in this undeclared war is Hong Kong, a former British colony that returned to Chinese control 24 years ago. While the territory was supposed to have been given a “high degree of autonomy” for a period of 50 years, and to have operated under the “one country-two systems principle,” the last few years have seen China’s “comprehensive jurisdiction” introduced and enforced in uncompromising fashion.

Hong Kong’s Once-Thriving Film Industry Faces a Rocky Reboot Amidst Closer Ties With China
Image
In the world of Asian cinema, Hong Kong has cultivated a reputation for punching above its weight. Once producing 300 films a year, the small territory hatched global martial arts superstars like Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh and Donnie Yen. It nurtured the visions of auteur Wong Kar Wai and put itself on the map with compelling crime thrillers like “Infernal Affairs” — remade by Martin Scorsese as Oscar winner “The Departed” — and Johnnie To’s “Election.”

These days, however, the Hong Kong cinema scene is getting a disturbing reboot. Beijing’s increasing political control, especially the draconian National Security Law that curtails freedom of expression, passed last June, has accelerated the mounting challenges.

“The Nsl feels like the beginning of the end. Internationally, and even regionally, Hong Kong as a film hub is now in danger,” says San Diego State University professor Brian Hu, whose research has centered on...

Film Review: Beyond the Dream (2019) by Kiwi Chow
Image
Can people with mental illnesses be in a healthy relationship? And once in one, can they sustain that relationship over a period of time, without harming themselves or their partners physically or emotionally? In his follow-up to his debut “A Complicated Story” and to arguably the best segment of the anthology “Ten Years”, director Kiwi Chow asks and attempts to answer all these questions and more.

American Idol Recap: Francisco Martin and Catie Turner Crash the Final Week of Season 19 Auditions — Watch
Image
Well, guys, we did it. After five long, emotionally manipulative weeks, the American Idol Season 19 auditions have come to an end — and no one is more tired than Katy Perry’s cow-print suit. (Rest easy, old friend. Your me-moo-ry will live on forever.)

Let’s start with Sunday’s surprise guest stars, which ultimately yielded polar opposite results: First, Season 18 finalist Francisco Martin dropped by to support his brother (and plug his new single), joining him in harmony for a performance of Season 17 runner-up Alejandro Aranda’s “10 Years.” (Yes, synergy!) Unfortunately, Martin took the lead on this one, which...
