This film goes beyond typical mob movie tropes to deliver an emotionally resonant experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
From the very beginning, the cinematography is breathtaking, showcasing the cityscape in all its gritty allure. The storytelling is expertly crafted, seamlessly blending mystery, drama, and action. Each scene serves a purpose, keeping viewers engaged and unveiling the intricate layers of its characters and plot.

Excellent performances and very suspenseful. The characters were very well fleshed out and felt like real people. The premiere I went to was very fun and the crowd looked to be on the edge of their seats for the entire movie. I thought the actor who played cuz was very compelling and a highlight of the film. My brother was in the movie and I am very proud to see him in the film. I thought the cast was very into their roles and delivered exceptional performances. It seemed that a lot of heart went into this movie and it shows on screen. If you are a fan of exciting thrillers, this movie is for you.
If you're looking for fancy effects and unrealistic car chases, this isn't the movie for you. If you're looking for great acting, a good plot and realistic dialogue, you will love this film.
It's gritty. It's raw. It's real. The main cast is stellar and the supporting cast more than holds their own. I think the performance by Kevin Interdonato as Cuz is one of the best performances that I've seen in years. I vacillated from loving the character to hating him continually throughout the film. Adam Ratcliffe does a fine job at playing the main character, Michael in a nuanced and controlled performance.
For an Indie film, this is one special movie.

Saint Michael of The City" is an absolute masterpiece that grips you from start to finish with its captivating story, brilliant performances, and stunning visuals. This film transcends typical genre expectations of a mob movie and delivers a deeply moving experience that resonates long after the credits roll.
From the opening scenes, the cinematography is breathtaking, showcasing the cityscape in all its gritty glory. The narrative is skillfully woven, seamlessly blending elements of mystery, drama, and action. Every scene feels purposeful, keeping you on the edge of your seat while gradually unveiling the complex layers of its characters and storyline.
The performances in "Saint Michael of The City" are nothing short of outstanding, from breakout stars and seasoned pros alike. John Wollman's portrayal of Captain Ricken is a standout. His commanding presence and nuanced delivery bring depth to a character torn between duty and personal demons. Wollman's performance is truly captivating, making Captain Ricken one of my favorite parts of this movie.
I must also highlight Matthew Wollman's role as a cop, whose performance was delivered with incredible gusto. Despite a smaller part, Matthew brought authenticity and energy to the screen, adding to the film's rich atmosphere.
Overall I loved this movie and urge everyone to see it.
