The group has earned over 40 Oscar nominations combined.
Wilson shared the pic on Instagram Friday, joking, “Looks like Steven has a future in selfies.”

Even when Tom Hanks tries to throw a few jabs at Meryl Streep, he can’t keep up the charade for long.
During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote their movie The Post, Hanks playfully joked about what it’s like to work with his costar.
When the host brought up Streep, the veteran actor rolled his eyes and said, “You mean, can I just say, ‘high maintenance Meryl Streep?’ ” Hanks replied.
Wanting more, Colbert asked, “Oh really? Diva?”
“Look, the shoes alone, man,” Hanks joked, quickly adding, “No, I am so joking.”

When asked about the representation of the Holocaust in Schindler’s List, Stanley Kubrick responded: “Think that’s about the Holocaust? That was about success, wasn’t it? The Holocaust is about 6 million people who get killed. Schindler’s List is about 600 who don’t. Anything else?” Similarly, the story of the Pentagon Papers concerns the United States government lying, for decades, to the world about the Vietnam War, at the cost of millions of lives. The Post is about the brave journalists who brought these lies to public light.
That focus-shift is significant, though whether it will even bother a viewer depends heavily on how their worldview aligns with that of director Steven Spielberg. Donald Trump has spent $1.75 million in 9 months of living in the White House, NBC reported.
According to government records, some of the costs accrued include $17,000 for custom rugs, $7,000 for furniture pedestals, $5,000 for wallpaper, and $12,800 for a custom conference table made by the same company that once built a table for former President Richard Nixon — although the company’s website notes that “Nixon paid for the table himself.”

Hey, you might not be aware of this – and honestly, no worries if not, we’ve all got a lot going on – but Hopscotch is the greatest movie ever. This is an irrefutable fact, and I’m glad I was able to save you from all kinds of hand-wringing. If your hands are already getting pretty wrung, though, feel free to pop in Hopscotch just to check. I’ll wait.
Okay, so we’re all set then? I can come clean – in the pure, cleansing light of day, Hopscotch may not literally be the greatest movie ever made. But it feels that way every second whenever I watch it. Walter Matthau as a CIA agent outwitting the CIA and every other national intelligence agency? You couldn’t ask for a more pleasurable premise. Anytime you can get a protagonist the audience likes but doesn’t fully understand, you’re on the right track.

When Al Gore lost the 2000 presidential election, he found a new platform for his message in storytelling. One reason “An Inconvenient Truth” became a huge success for the environmental movement was Gore’s dramatic comeback made him a natural fit for the movies. He was a tireless advocate whose globe-spanning quest to save the planet excited audiences while bringing them closer to his cause. Now, it’s Joe Biden’s turn.
Judging by the powerful stories he told in a speech at the 2017 SXSW conference about his efforts to fight cancer, Biden would make a killer documentary subject. His appearance, part of SXSW’s Connect to End Cancer series, targeted the tech-savvy audience to play up his efforts to empower digital tools as a means to combat the disease. Until February 1971, President Richard Nixon had meetings in the Oval Office unrecorded, unable to be called upon by him and his staff as well as those that came after him. One of those such meetings included the December 21, 1970 meeting he had with the king, Elvis Presley.
In a bizarre twist of actual historic events, Elvis Presley wanted a meeting with Richard Nixon in the hopes of becoming a “Federal Agent at Large” and carrying an official Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs badge. His wife Priscilla wrote that “the narc badge represented some kind of ultimate power to him . . . With the federal narcotics badge, he could legally enter any country both wearing guns and carrying any drugs he wished.” Well don’t we wish the same!

Chicago – “When two great saints meet, it’s a humbling experience,” said Paul McCartney of John and Yoko. Well that also applies to “Elvis & Nixon.” Their meeting, albeit brief, has layers of meaning for our times – and their time – and the movie with the “E&N” title exposes that meaning with humor and grace.
Rating: 4.5/5.0
Elvis Presley, nicknamed the “King of Rock ‘n Roll,” had prodigious fame and an appetite to match. Richard Milhous Nixon, President of the United States by default because all of his opponents were either killed or marginalized by the Vietnam War, was a tic-filled paranoid with little regard for his constituency beyond power. They met because Elvis wanted an honorary title, and Nixon – through his aides – wanted legitimacy in the “youth vote.” In the realm of the film, they gave each other something, but not exactly what they expected. Likely you have seen the photo: Richard Nixon, President of the United States, shaking hands with Elvis Presley, the King of Rock N’ Roll in full Las Vegas costume. It looks like a joke, one staged with impersonators, but the photo is real and, as the film tells us, the most requested photo of the National Archives.
This absurd, unlikely meeting is the basis of Elvis & Nixon a hilarious satire starring Kevin Spacey as Nixon and Michael Shannon as Elvis. The film, directed by Liza Johnson with a script by Joey Sagal, Hanala Sagal and Cary Elwes, is sly, clever and funny, with a little thoughtful reflection on the insular nature of great fame or power, and human relationships.

Kevin Spacey must love playing troubled presidents. He's Frank Underwood on "House of Cards," and now he's Richard Nixon in "Elvis & Nixon," a comedy opening this April with Michael Shannon as Elvis Presley.
The first trailer was just released, and even though it's very tongue-in-cheek it purports to be "the untold true story" behind the December 21, 1970, meeting between the King of Rock 'n Roll and President Nixon. That meeting resulted in (seriously?) the most requested photograph in the National Archives.
Here's the trailer:
Never would've imagined Michael Shannon as Elvis, but that guy can do anything. This thing looks like it will either be a comedy classic or a major miss, but it attracted a lot of stars, so it has potential. The cast includes Evan Peters, Colin Hanks, Ashley Benson, Tate Donovan, and Alex Pettyfer. Amazon Studios and Bleecker Street have scheduled the movie for an April 2016 release.

One of the stranger true-life tales coming to the big screen this year is the fateful meeting between a standing U.S. president and a rock icon both in the twilight of their lives. Courtesy of Bloom and Autumn Pictures, we have the first image from Elvis & Nixon, which finds Michael Shannon taking on the King of Rock while Kevin Spacey plays a disgraced leader quite unlike the Potus he portrays on House of Cards.
This first-look image of Spacey as Richard Nixon and Shannon as Elvis Presley, from Liza Johnson's comedy, finds the two famous figureheads meeting in the Oval Office. Currently in production, the never been told story re-creates an intimate encounter between two men at the height of their powers. Cassian Elwes and Holly Wiersma are producing with Autumn Pictures' David Hansen and Johnny Mac financing and executive producing alongside Byron Wetzel, Robert Ogden Barnum and Jerry Schilling.

Over three years ago, we learned that actor Cary Elwes, best known for his roles in films like The Princess Bride and Robin Hood: Men in Tights, would make his feature directorial debut with Elvis & Nixon, a film following the interesting visit that iconic musician Elvis Presley paid to President Richard M. Nixon at the White House on December 21st, 1970. At the time, Eric Bana was slated to play "The King" and Danny Huston was going to play "Tricky Dick," but now the production banner Bloom has set Michael Shannon to play Elvis Presley and Kevin Spacey to play Richard Nixon. That's quite an awesome new duo. Read on! Here's how the project is described in the press release: Two men at the height of their powers, conscious they could not stay on top forever, both ripped with fear of the inevitable, sharing one famous private moment in the Oval office.

One of next summer's most highly-anticipated movies is the superhero sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, a follow-up to 2011's X-Men: First Class. Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is one of the many new additions to the cast, portraying Bolivar Trask, the head of Trask Industries which creates the Sentinel robots that hunt down every mutant in director Bryan Singer's adventure.
The actor recently spoke about his character, revealing that he didn't want to play him as a traditional villain.
"I didn't want to play the villain. He's a man of science. He's a man of invention. He actually sees what he's doing as a good thing - [his ambition is] definitely blind and he's quite arrogant. He's strove all his life for a certain respect and attention."

Frost was born in Kent in 1939, the son of a minister. A keen footballer, he was offered a contract with Nottingham Forest Fc while at school, but chose to study English at Cambridge University instead.
It was here that he started out in journalism, editing the student newspaper Varsity and literary magazine Granta. He also became secretary of the Footlights club, where he met future comedy stars such as Peter Cook, Graham Chapman and John Bird.
Upon graduating, Frost became a trainee at ITV and was soon asked to host satirical show That Was The Week That Was in 1962. One of the more interesting aspects of X-Men: First Class was its innovative handling of fictional superhero characters interacting with real-life historical events – bringing a deeper, more meaningful gravitas to the comic book movie genre. I don’t know about you but the way the Cuban Missile Crisis was handled in “First Class” with Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants trying to start World War 3 actually makes more sense to me than how close humans really came to destroying life as we know it.
One early disappointment for me with the planned follow-up X-Men: Days Of Future Past is the ten-year switch in time from the 60s to the 70s since the last movie. That decade later jump has robbed us of an escalation of how “First Class” ended with Magneto going after JFK for lying about the mutants involvement in stopping the crisis. When we spoke to “First Class...

Tonight in Denver, President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney will engage in the first of their three scheduled presidential debates. Obama leads in most national polls, defying some gloomy economic indicators in part because of Romney’s self-inflicted wounds. But tonight, everything can change with a quip or a gaffe, as approximately 60 million voters will tune in to compare the two candidates who want to be our next president. Ideally, their conversation will dig deep in to the substantial issues and formidable challenges that confront our country. But if televised debate history has taught us anything, it’s that even...

And if you’re lucky, Leap Day William visits. He’s from the Mariana Trench, and every four years he emerges to...

Here's one more film to watch crawl towards the screen in the coming months, thanks to the American Film Market. Elvis & Nixon is an indie based on the real-life meeting between the crooner and the President, and will mark the feature directing debut of actor Cary Elwes, who co-wrote with Joey Sagal and Hanala Sagal. (And who is probably still best known for his role in The Princess Bride.) To play Elvis, Elwes and his producers have landed Eric Bana -- strike that, Bana is one of the producers. Meanwhile, Danny Huston (The Proposition, Clash of the Titans, John Adams) will play Richard M. Nixon. And if this week's release of J. Edgar proves anything, it is that you don't need someone who is a dead ringer for a famous figure. Actually, I'm not sure that J. David Frye, who soared to fame in the late 1960s with his devastating mimicry of Richard M. Nixon, has died in Las Vegas at age 77. Frye was an omnipresent fixture on TV variety shows especially in the lead-up to the presidential election in 1968 which saw Nixon rise from being a political has-been to being the leader of the free world after his narrow defeat of Democratic candidate Hubert Humphrey. Although Frye was an equal opportunity satirist, spoofing both liberals and conservatives, he was so closely associated with Richard Nixon that few remembered his other targets. Arguably, his career declined as some the figures he spoofed ended up with less-than-comical legacies. President Lyndon Johnson refused to run for re-election and emerged from the White House as a battered and embittered man, a victim of his Vietnam policy that overshadowed his often remarkable advances in social programs.
