This movie doesn't deserve all the hate it gets. It may not be a blockbuster, but it's actually quite heartwarming. I remember watching it about a decade ago and thinking it was terrible. However, when I watched it a few weeks ago, I found it had some really good moments scattered throughout. The music and songs were enjoyable, though Dhanush's acting was average while Shreya's was remarkable. As for the antagonist, there's no denying he was dreadful. It's possible he got the role due to nepotism.

Ignore the negative ratings and watch it for some lighthearted fun without any expectations. Don't let those critical reviews deter you.

It was so horrible acting of Dhanush and even immaturish. The storyline is terrible, manipulative in all aspects and don't have it's innocense of the original.
