This is an interesting underrated Brazilian film, with a thrilling atmosphere, narrative elements of horror, and references to the supernatural. What is real, what is indeed happening, who is Ana and what is she doing there? The relationship story of Rodrigo and Beatriz is slowly unveiled as the movie advances. The disturbing presence of Ana, who combines the weird death mistery, supposed potential danger and trickster eroticism, is useful for keeping interest in the story, although I do not think that it was well developed in its necessary bond with the couple Rodrigo and Beatriz. Perhaps there are two plots, which have not been well balanced in their conclusion. The end is good, but could have been more tightly built.
