Don't waste your time with this movie. I've seen TikTok videos made better than this movie. The acting feels so fake, the cinematography feels so fake. From the first 10 minutes of the movie I knew I shouldn't watch the rest. Absolutely boring story telling. Sounds are poorly edited. I mean I don't know what else to say. Just don't watch it. I want to post this review but have to keep adding more words so I add more words that it's one of the worst movies I've ever watched. The story is not bad but nothing special either it's just the production that is not there at all. Can't believe I watched this movie!
Same story tried again with less talented actors. The "mother" with her clickers on her fingers activating the killer, please. This movie was so dumb. I do think at some point the writers had potential with this, but it turned to well, you know what unfortunately.
The directing was okay I guess, and the makeup was good too. I'm just adding so this will be posted. Had potential as a horror film but was super cringy esp the wig and the finger clickers. And then of course the torture of the wannabe drug dealers. Like okay, let them go and give them some weed. Instead they get mother and her killer. Yikes/

I had a blast with this movie. I discovered it through TikTok, where people were talking about how it was made with just $12K, so I decided to check it out. After giving it a watch, I think it's got the makings of a cult classic, easy. It feels like a mix between Reservoir Dogs and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
I honestly forgot about time while watching this movie. Once you sit down and watch, all of a sudden, you're on a ride you can't get out of, which is not something most movies can do. Very thrilling and intense. The acting from some of the younger actors seemed a little dry at times but I really liked both of the villains and their own approaches to creating fear and tension in the scene. The pacing and Cinematography were awesome would def recommend this one.

*A Savior Red* isn't without its flaws-there are some noticeable sound issues-but it's an engaging ride. The film takes some wild turns, especially with the roulette sequences and the surreal "Savior Red" moment, keeping things unpredictable. The main characters have okay chemistry, though they're often overshadowed by the more dynamic and entertaining villains. Considering it was made on a $12,000 budget, it's an impressive effort-strange, intriguing, and definitely worth a watch.
That said, don't go in expecting a horror film. This leans heavily into thriller genre, relying more on tension and suspense than outright scares.
