10 is the story of Vijay Kumar, a boxer with a goal of becoming India's best and in his journey faces drug allegation which puts everything he ever wanted in life to test. As he tries to defend himself, his shaky relationship with his coach gets the best out of him which not just costs him his career but also affects his personal life big time. How he overcomes the odds to make it back into the ring with the help of his coach forms rest of the story.

The love story remained basic and there was hardly any chemistry between the lead but the relationship that stood out, shouldering the movie was that of Vijay and his coach. It's a winner right from the beginning showcasing well the experience of the coach to firmly judge his protégé. The pace is slow but largely engaging as it sticks to a more realistic approach than glamour.

It does follow the template of any sports drama involving a rookie reaching the top and losing all of it quickly, earning back the strength to fight back. It's strength lies in not over dramatizing the screenplay.
