The film ‘Faltu’ which was released in 2011, and starred Jackky Bhagnani, Angad Bedi, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Puja Gupta, Riteish Deshmukh, and Arshad Warsi, has clocked 13 years of its release on Monday.

Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, who played the lead, said that this film is where it all began for him as he called it a “dream come true”.

The film was directed by Remo D’souza and became a favourite of the youngsters upon its release. Jackky Bhagnani and other members of the cast have revisited some memories from the film.

Talking about 13 years of ‘Faltu’, Jackky Bhagnani said: “It is where it all began for me, a dream come true. We were students, not actors who were acting as students. We used to laugh and play. We were all Faltus and it is actually after the film that people told us we were not.”

Music composer duo Sachin Sanghvi, and Jigar Saraiya, popularly known as Sachin-Jigar have collaborated with Tanishk Bagchi for the music of the upcoming eight-episode crime thriller ‘Farzi’.

It took a much bigger proportion when he went on to direct F.A.L.T.U., Abcd – Any Body Can Dance and then its sequel Abcd 2. Mumbai, March 23: Vashu Bhagnani, known for producing films like "Coolie No.1" and "Hero No. 1", celebrated 25 films in the Hindi film industry and was lauded by actors for his achievement.

The celebration party was held here Saturday and actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza marked their presence. Vashu's son Jackky, who has acted in films like "F.A.L.T.U" and "Kal Kissne Dekha", was also spotted at the event, said a statement.

New Delhi, March 21: Director-choreographer Remo D'Souza says he was born as Ramesh Gopi, but changed it to Remo after getting his parents' approval.

The director of movies like "F.A.L.T.U" and "Abcd: Anybody Can Dance", confessed during an interview on Disney channel's "Captain Tiao" that Remo was a name he chose for himself, said a statement.

"My real name is Ramesh Gopi. Though I love the name that my parents kept for me, I also like the name Remo a lot. Not to mention, I even took permission from my parents before I changed my name from Ramesh to Remo," he said.

Mumbai, June 7: Director-choreographer Remo D'Souza feels lucky that he is part of the Hindi film industry at a time when movies with good script, made with a good mix of drama and emotion, work over those which boast of star-studded casts.

Post his previous two films Kal Kissne Dekha and F.A.L.T.U, Jackky Bhagnani is ready with his next Ajab Gazabb Love. However, the film which was scheduled for release this Dusshera, on October 24, taking advantage of the public holiday, has been postponed.

Ajab Gazabb Love will now release two days later, on Friday, October 26. The reason for the apparent delay in release is that many single screens will not be able to screen the film. This inability to feature the latest release comes thanks to the distribution of the recently released Student Of The Year which prohibits its discontinuation to make way for newer releases.

Producer Vashu Bhagnani has been vocal about the delay saying that he would rather wait for Friday which also coincides with Bakri Eid and have a uniform release, rather than have a staggered release in half of the theaters on October 24.

Ajab Gazabb Love, remake of Telugu hit Samna Tapakai, is one of October’s promising releases, if one is to go by its fresh and engaging promos. Doting father producer Vashu Bhagnani is hell-bent on making a star out of his son Jackky. After Ajab Gazzab Love, the film that Sanjay Gadhvi has almost completed with Jackky in the lead, Vashu has quickly taken his laadla beta into a second project being directed by Priyadarshan and then there is a third film too before the year is through. "By the end of 2012, three films with Jackky will be ready," promises Vashu. But it's the Priyadarshan project, a remake of the 2009 Tamil hit Naadodigal, which is currently a matter of contention between producer Vashu Bhagnani and director Priyadarshan. Apparently, the original ensemble hit is being re-written in Hindi to spotlight Jackky's role. Not just that, Vashu has made it clear that he wants the film to be named after his son's character. Barely had we digested the fact that the 22-year old Tamannah Bhatia would be making her Bollywood debut opposite 40-plus Ajay Devgn in the Vashu Bhagnani-produced Himmatwala when now news comes that another Tamil-Telugu actress Priya Anand has been cast opposite Vashu's son Jackky in the Hindi remake of the 2009 Tamil hit Naadodigal. A prominent Tamil -Telugu actress, Priya was Rana Daggubati's co-star in his debut film Leader. Since then she has been labeled lucky for her leading men. Apparently, Priya has been signed by Bhagnani for an exclusive 3-film deal on Rana Daggubati's recommendation. Says a source, "Immediately after she finishes shooting Priyadarshan's film for Bhagnani titled Rang Rez, she goes into F.A.L.T.U 2 with Jackky which Sanjay Gadhvi will direct.
