The owner of the Sphere has sent Beyoncé a cease-and-desist letter over footage that shows the singer picking up a version of what they say is the Las Vegas venue, according to reports from Billboard and New York Post.
“Beyoncé — many orders of magnitude larger than the Sphere venue — leans over, picks up the venue, and looms over it,” the letter reads, according to the Post, leading to “significant speculation that Beyoncé will end her tour with a Sphere residency.”

It looks like Beyonce might be changing up her setlist throughout the Cowboy Carter Tour, or she’s just testing things out to make it perfect for the rest of the run.
Night two on the tour had a different set list from night one, with some of Beyonce‘s biggest hits added to the lineup.
The first night heavily featured songs from Beyonce‘s most recent albums Renaissance and Cowboy Carter with just a few classics added in. For night two, she added a section to the show that featured added songs “Single Ladies,” “Love On Top,” “Irreplaceable,” and “If I Were a Boy.”
The order of songs was also switched around for the second show.
Beyonce has three more concerts in Los Angeles across the next week before she brings the tour to other cities in the U.S.

Beyoncé soared across SoFi Stadium in a giant neon horseshoe, and then again in a red convertible Cadillac. She mounted and rode a gleaming, mechanical golden bull — all the while belting tunes from Cowboy Carter and her decades-spanning discography.
A year after releasing Cowboy Carter, the album’s accompanying tour finally kicked off in Los Angeles this week, with thousands of fans decked out in spangles, sequins and cowboy hats as Bey delivered a spectacular three-hour country hoedown that married Sergio Leone-esque filmed interstitials to eye-popping choreography and pyrotechnics.
After years of snubs in the major Grammy categories, Cowboy Carter finally nabbed Beyoncé the Grammy for album of the year back in February, a moment immortalized in the meme-worthy image of a stiff-armed Beyoncé reacting in shock. That image gets its due in one of the evening’s many captivating photo montages that track the artist’s iconic career.

Ed Sheeran has launched a new Instagram account to share photos he found on his old phone to celebrate his upcoming single titled “Old Phone.”
The Grammy-winning singer retired the phone in 2015, but had to look through the old phone during a copyright lawsuit for his 2014 song “Thinking Out Loud.”
“It felt like a time capsule, a time of life that I was in, and living at that time in 2015,” Ed wrote on his @teddysoldphone account. “Turning it on really spun me out, I found myself scrolling messages and conversations with people who are no longer here. … I found old photos of me with people I was so close to then, but we’ve lost touch since. The whole experience was such an emotional journey.”
One photo that Ed shared shows a private note that Taylor Swift wrote to him and it includes some major shade thrown at Kanye West.

Rapper Kanye West slammed Taylor Swift on social media, declaring that she is one of the reasons he had not been invited to perform in the Super Bowl halftime show.
“I was never allowed to do the Super Bowl because of 3 moments: [George W. Bush] don’t care about black people, The Taylor Swift movement moment, Wearing a Maga Hat.” West stated in a now-deleted X post.
“How it feel to be the best living and blocked from the main stage because of being ahead of my time,” he added. “And I mean all of this before I went full Nazi of course.”
Swift and West’s rivalry dates back to the MTV VMAs in 2009, when he stormed on stage during her acceptance speech to the audience that Beyoncé “had one of the best videos of all time,” alluding to the “Single Ladies” music video.

Up until four years ago, copyrighting dance moves wasn’t really a thing. But in 2021, thanks in part to TikTok and its constant stream of viral dances, that changed. That year, JaQuel Knight, the choreographer behind major hit music videos like Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” and Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wap,” filed to own the rights to moves used in those songs. He set the precedent for content creators on TikTok to copyright moves they came up with, giving them control over whether other people–and, crucially, companies–could use them.
One of those creators is Kelley Heyer. Heyer, who has 313,000 followers on TikTok, invented a dance to the chorus of Charli Xcx‘s track “Apple” in June 2024, and it went so viral she was invited to perform at one of the artist’s concerts.
The dance also got popular enough to catch the eye of both Fortnite and Roblox.

Kanye West Rant Post(Photo Credit –YouTube/Instagram)
Kanye West seems to think Taylor Swift is the invisible hand that’s kept him off the Super Bowl halftime stage. In a recently deleted post on X, the 47-year-old rapper opened up about why he believes he’s never been offered the coveted spotlight, despite decades of musical influence.
He came up with reasoning which seemed like a cocktail of controversy and bad blood and some political and some personal.

Beyoncé is the most honored artist of all time at the Grammy Awards. In 2023, she set that record, which had previously been held by conductor Georg Solti, when she prevailed four times for her dance album Renaissance. In 2025, she extended that record with her country collection Cowboy Carter.
Beyoncé received a remarkable 11 nominations for Cowboy Carter, which itself was historic. That was the most nominations ever for a single album, the most nominations for a woman in a single year, and it gave Beyoncé the all-time record as the most nominated artist in history with 99 career bids. Most of the top categories have eluded her, but she finally won Album of the Year for this latest effort. That made her the first Black woman since Lauryn Hill (The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill) to claim the award. Beyonce is nominated for multiple Grammys in 2025, but historically, she’s been shut out from the top awards on multiple occasions.
Her newest album Cowboy Carter is nominated for Album of the Year, but that is one Grammy she has never won. While fans are rooting for her, it’s more than likely that she’ll miss out again.
Understand, this is not a criticism. However, in the past, Beyonce has been favored to win Album of the Year at the Grammys multiple times, but she’s always come up short when the final award gets handed out.

In our humble opinion, Cowboy Carter is certainly deserving of the prize, but there’s definitely no saying whether she’ll get the award.

Here’s What Went Down In Doctor Strange’s Beyonce Joke Scene That Left Wong Surprised (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Doctor Stephen Strange is no stranger to pulling a fast one, and in Doctor Strange (2016), one of his quirkiest lines was a complete curveball. Benedict Cumberbatch, the man behind Marvel’s master of the mystic arts, casually improvised the now-iconic Beyoncé gag, leaving fans in splits—and Wong in stunned silence.
Let’s set the stage. Stephen Strange had just entered the mystical world of Kamar-Taj, full of ancient secrets, powerful relics, and… mononyms? The 2025 Grammy nominations are here with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Kendrick Lamar among the artists slated to compete for the biggest prizes next year.
Beyoncé, thanks to Cowboy Carter, led all nominees this year with 11, scoring looks not only in the three major categories — Song, Record, and Album of the Year — but four different genre categories: Country, Pop, Rap, and Americana. Her 11 nominations also made Beyoncé the most nominated artist in Grammy history with 99 (she previously shared the record, 88, with her husband, Jay-Z).

It’s a yee-haw for Beyoncé and Sabrina Carpenter at the Grammys.
Queen Bey’s latest album, Cowboy Carter, will compete for best country album while Carpenter — whose pop star breakthrough came with the release of her sixth album this year — will appear on the ballot for best new artist, according to a source.
The Recording Academy held its screening committee meeting last week, where members determined the categories in which albums or songs will compete, as well as who qualified for best new artist, where Carpenter is the frontrunner along with Chappell Roan. Over the years, the Academy has updated the rules for best new artist to keep up with the ever-changing music industry, and in the past it has been criticized because it placed a song and album limit, disqualifying certain performers.

Attention, all humans: singer-songwriter Beyoncé is watching House of the Dragon, HBO's Game of Thrones prequel show. She revealed as much to GQ, which asked her what in music and media is inspiring her right now. "The best movie I’ve seen this year is Inside Out 2," she said. "I think it’s brilliant, and I’m currently watching House of the Dragon and The Chi."
The Chi is a Showtime drama about a neighborhood on the South Side of the Chicago. And House of the Dragon, of course, is about a bunch of blonde-haired dragon-riders burning each other to death. The show's second season wrapped up last month, and we're not sure when exactly Beyoncé started watching or where she is in her journey.
I wish I had more to say about this revelation, but it kind of speaks for itself. Beyoncé did "Crazy in Love" and "Single Ladies" and "Texas Hold 'Em.

Despite revolutionizing the medium by introducing the concept of the visual album to the general public, Beyoncé notably did not create any music videos for either release in her ongoing Renaissance series (Renaissance and Cowboy Carter). Now, in a new interview, the Grammy-winning artist confirmed that fans shouldn’t be expecting to see new music videos from her any time soon.
“I thought it was important that during a time where all we see is visuals, that the world can focus on the voice,” she revealed to GQ. “The music is so rich in history and instrumentation. It takes months to digest, research, and understand. The music needed space to breathe on its own.”

After four seasons, Queen Latifah has established The Equalizer as a quality mainstay of epic entertainment proportions, but is that really that surprising?
It's Queen Latifah!
The Equalizer has certainly come a long way since it first premiered in 2021, but the show has only gotten better without ever losing sight of its source material or straying from the aspects of the series that make fans tune in every week.
While she could go back to her CIA days, Robyn prefers to balance her time as a badass vigilante in the Big Apple with being a cool mom to Delilah, her teenage daughter.
The show mixed things up over the first three seasons, especially by swapping out Chris Noth due to off-screen drama.

Terius Gesteelde-Diamant, a songwriter and producer for Beyoncé and Rihanna, has been sued for rape, sexual battery and sex trafficking by a former mentee.
In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday in California federal court, Chanaaz Mangroe accuses Gesteelde-Diamant (also known as The-Dream) of falsely promising to promote her career only to trap her in an “abusive, violent and manipulative relationship filled with physical assaults, violent sexual encounters, and horrific psychological manipulation.”
Gesteelde-Diamant has been behind a number of hits, including Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” and “Break My Soul,” Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s “Holy Grail,” Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body” and Justin Bieber’s debut single “Baby,” among others. This year, the eight-time Grammy winner was shortlisted for an Academy Award after writing an original song for the remake of The Color Purple. Billie Eilish may not have debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 with her new album “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” but she still achieved some personal-best metrics. The album accumulated 339,000 equivalent album units, her highest total ever in a single week. Of those units, 191,000 came from traditional album sales, also her strongest result. And the lead single, “Lunch,” debuted at number-five on the Billboard Hot 100, the highest debut of her career yet. Given Eilish’s stellar track record in top Grammy categories, could we then see “Lunch” win her Record of the Year and Song of the Year again?
Eilish has already made history in both categories. She won Record of the Year in 2020 and 2021 for “Bad Guy” and “Everything I Wanted,” respectively, making her just the third artist to win that award in consecutive years; that feat had previously been achieved by Roberta Flack (“The First Time Ever I...

A decade into her solo career, Beyoncé effectively evaded irrelevancy by wresting control of her own narrative. After her 2011 album 4 failed to produce a Top 10 hit—to date, her only album to do so—the singer began dropping albums without any pre-release promotion, sidestepping chart expectations and reimagining the traditional pop album release strategy. Since then, she’s done few interviews and often glides into awards shows donning dark shades and a straight face, shrewdly creating a superstar mystique in the vein of Michael Jackson and Prince.
That approach, thankfully, has been accompanied by some of Beyoncé’s most creative, political, and inspired work to date. Her 2016 visual album Lemonade drew on her personal experiences as a Black woman to comment on feminism and racism in the Me Too and Black Lives Matter era, while its follow-up, 2022’s Renaissance, kept the focus squarely on the music, inspired by and dedicated...

Before joining The Walking Dead universe as Pearl Thorne in The Ones Who Live, Lesley-Ann Brandt starred in a variety of roles for TV and film. The South African actor is well-known for taking on projects in horror, fantasy, and other traditionally “nerdy” genres, having appeared in shows like Gotham, The Librarians, and most notably Lucifer.
With a variety of roles under her belt, here’s where else you’ve seen Lesley-Ann Brandt before.
Lucifer
As mentioned previously, Brandt is most known for her role as Lucifer’s (Tom Ellis) right-hand Mazikeen in the hit TV series Lucifer. Mazikeen a.k.a. Maze is known for her fierce loyalty, though she sometimes struggles to adapt her brash nature to the human world. Brandt does a phenomenal job of portraying Maze’s growth from demon with a penchant for sadistic torture to a slightly more vulnerable and human demon with a penchant for sadistic torture.

If you’ve attended a mainstream country concert in the past decade, you’re probably familiar with the part of the set where the headliner sprinkles in a non-obvious cover from an adjacent genre like pop, R&b, or classic rock. It’s a move with any number of purposes: to show an artist’s range of influences, to reel in a drifting crowd with a massive hit, to appeal to a wider audience, or to highlight how fluid and arbitrary genre borders really are when you strip a song back to its essentials.

When hitmaking producer The-Dream got the call to write an original song for the remake of The Color Purple, he almost couldn’t do it. He was busy — busy with Beyoncé.

This weekend sees an iconic figure of entertainment return to grace our movie theaters with the presence of their sheer awesomeness. But enough about John Woo returning to American theaters with his Christmas themed revenge tale Silent Night, we are also getting the Beyoncé concert film/ documentary Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.
Coming off the success of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which has amassed a domestic record (for a concert film) $178.2 million comes the second concert film to be released directly by AMC Theaters, bypassing a major studio for its release.
Unlike The Eras Tour Movie, which was a straight up concert film, Renaissance is more of a hybrid concert film/ documentary, in the vein of Michael Jackson’s This Is It, that weaves together background footage of the tour with the actual concert. Obviously the two closest comps for this title are Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour which...

Exclusive: So AMC’s second concert movie, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, hit tracking recently with a $20M opening projection. You’ll remember that the No. 1 circuit in the world, which is distributing the movie to other exhibitors through Variance (which also was tapped to handle AMC’s concert movie Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour) set a Dec. 1 release date. That’s a notoriously slow post-Thanksgiving frame for moviegoing.
Renaissance, which has more of documentary quality to it than Eras Tour, always was expected to debut in this range, so no surprise here. When the movie was announced, despite Beyoncé’s latest concert tour grossing close to $600M, per Live Nation back in August — the seventh-highest-grossing concert of all time, with wild estimates out there that the tour could rack up $2.4 billion — distribution sources have been figuring that the film would not post Eras Tour-type opening numbers. Moulin Rouge! The Musical has found its next Harold Zidler in Boy George, who’ll be making his long-awaited Broadway return from February 6th through May 12th, 2024.
Currently played by Tituss Burgess through next month, the character of Harold Zidler is the owner of the Moulin Rouge night club, also serving as the musical’s de facto emcee. Coincidentally, Boy George’s last time on Broadway — which was over 20 years ago — was Taboo, another musical about a night club.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical is directed by Alex Timbers with a book by John Logan, and is based on Baz Luhrmann’s eponymous 2001 film. It features a wide array of pop hits like “Single Ladies,” “Every Breath You Take,” and, of course, “Lady Marmalade,” which is all well-charted territory for Boy George, who rose to fame as the lead singer of the band Culture Club.

Taylor Swift has once again broken the VMAs record for the most video of the year wins, which she first set last year.
With the 2023 win for “Anti-Hero,” Swift has now won the top MTV honor awarded by fans four times. The pop icon first broke the record in 2022 with “All Too Well: The Short Film.” She had previously won it for 2015’s “Bad Blood (feat. Kendrick Lamar)” and 2019’s “You Need to Calm Down.”
Earlier in the night, Swift took home the Moon Man, the award given by the Video Music Awards, for best pop, song of the year and best direction. The latter two awards were given for Swift’s song “Anti-Hero.”
There are only three other artists who have taken home two video of the year awards in VMAs history: Beyoncé, Rihanna and Eminem. Beyoncé took home the honor for “Single Ladies” and “Formation;” Rihanna for “Umbrella...
