    Watchable

Somebody wrote "Same Old Liberal Ending". And this is years before Trump. We have been a sick society for a while. As far as the film... basic movie for tv back then... a little slow but steady. Fair acting and some character building. A takedown of more in the coverup would have gone a long way.

Interesting cause it did and could happen again

I see kids today and am totally dismayed. When I was kid I was taught to respect my elders, period. When I was in the Navy, among many things, respect is taught. As for the underage drinking, yes I did and drank with my parents and family well before I was of legal age. But I see kids today that drink, and well above kids age, and I literally fear something could happen. So seeing this story scares the snot out of me that it'll happen next door to me too.

    reminding

As teacher, I know the deep cruelty , impulsive gestures, expressions of frustrations and temptation to humiliate adults of teenagers. This film reminds them , inspired being by a real fact. In essence, not only a film about teens and a covered by them murder , but a very precise portrait of community. A film reminding not only the effect of alcohol or drugs or parties out of their limits , but the way to respect the other. Short, just a good film for remind cold, dark truths.

A real life tragedy, a decent Lifetime movie

I was living just outside the town of (Squamish B.C -Canada), where these events actually took place and I remember it well. The story was in the news for ages, such a tragedy on all accounts. On the TV-movie side of things, it was interesting to see here how they changed certain facts (the location, mention of Heisman trophy prospect) to make this more "Hollywood" or excepted by American audiences, I guess. Sadly this is a story that could happen anywhere so that's irrelevant.

So Squamish becomes Washington State yet is filmed in Victoria? Anyways its a pretty good Lifetime movie, Kim Raver is convincing as the widow and I liked how it is slowly revealed what actually happened to her husband.

The story follows Katy & Bob who live in a small close knit town. On New Years Eve there is a party at the house next door which gets louder and louder, it is mostly full of teens and after a while Bob and another man go over to quiet things down. A confrontation occurs though and Bob ends up dead. No one from the party will talk and the police and Katy hunt for the person responsible. The final scene with the teens confession is well done. 04.13
