Thailand’s M Studio is beginning talks with buyers at the EFM for Death Whisperer 3, following-up the biggest local film of all time at the Thai box office.
Nadech Kugimiya continues to lead the cast of the hit horror franchise, also known by its original Thai title Tee Yod. This time, his character sets out on a rescue mission when his youngest sister is kidnapped by a mysterious cult that leads him to a cursed village.
Dated for release on October 8, it is directed by Narit Yuvaboon who steps up from his producer’s role on the first two films.

South Korea’s Redice Entertainment, creator of hit webtoon Solo Leveling, has invested in Thai horror The Cursed Land as the company moves to extend activities outside its home market.
Redice Entertainment CEO Woogy Han and Neramitnung Film CEO Kanogwan Watchara signed an investment agreement in Bangkok on Thursday (March 7). It marks the first major outside investment in a Neramitnung Film production, which has previously fully financed its own titles.
“We see immense potential in Thai films, particularly within the horror genre,” said Han. “Genre films like The Cursed Land have a widespread appeal worldwide, presenting us with significant opportunities for growth.

Thai gangland sequel 4 Kings 2 has stormed the local box office, landing in the top spot as the second biggest opening for a local film this year.
The film, directed by Puttipong Nakthong, took $2.05m (72m baht) across its four-day opening weekend, following its release on November 30.
Backed by Bangkok-based Neramitnung Film, its gross was 44% more than its predecessor 4 Kings, which opened with $1.56m (50m baht) from its first four days in December 2021 and went on to rank as the highest grossing Thai film of that year.
