My god. I skipped this movie because of negetive review. But seriously they are fake. Very well made movie. Its a new concept and i enjoyed this movie. Atleast it is not predictable and same typical movie. Every actor did well and cinematography and story and it's execution exceptional yaar. Seriously next time I will not believe in the review.i will decide my own.

I, personally was really overwhelmed after the announcement of the 2nd installment of the series, the original was on loop on my screen. This excitement turned into disappointment when I finished watching Chhorii 2. Seriously, they left the climax unfinished, I am still asking my brain that weather the movie is completed or I skipped a bit of it! The actors were good, acted well, the sets were spooky, concept was unique but nothing gave TRUE colors to the film. Lack of proper management of scenes and even time to shoot the film, I guess...
Weak Disappointed Will there be Chhorii 3?
Or, it is the end!

Truely speaking the part 2 was not upto the expectation as part 1. The story was much diluted, even editing could be far better. Acting of all was so so.
As an Endocrinology resident I found a link with my subject. The herbal products given to 'Ratri' caused precocious puberty (vaginal bleed).
It is good to see a reflection of medical science in a movie where maximum make mockery of that. Though people are giving low rating for unnecessary prolongation of scenes those could be edited finely, I give 5/10 appreciating the medical knowledge projected through the story. Hope all my seniors and colleagues will second me.

Chhorii 2 continues exactly from where things were left off in the 1st part, which neither ended on a cliffhanger nor was there a curiosity or a hint as to how things will turn out. Nonetheless, the sequel maintains the superstitious angle and amps up the supernatural & paranormal quotient. The setting is back at the Village with a bigger yet forgettable cast.
Nushrratt Bharuccha leads with a decent performance alongside Gashmeer Mahajani who has a limited role. Soha Ali Khan was good with the highest screen time but was let down by the writing of her role. Cinematography felt slightly different than usual horror films and the Background Score kept things interesting & engaging. However, subpar CGI, poor dialogues for the Kids, a predictable climax and the lack of horror elements pull the film down sharply. Overall, the sequel felt quite forced & doesn't really add on to the lore of the 1st part. Avoidable!
OVERALL 2.25/10.

Whenever discussions arise regarding age-old malpractices or superstitions, the oppressive patriarchy and the involvement of men are often put to the front, and rightly so. The power-hungry and insecure mentalities of males frequently serve as the underlying causes of majority of these issues.
However, we tend to overlook the contributions of women, who may play a role, if not an equal one, in perpetuating these problems. I appreciate how "Chhori 2" highlights this often-ignored aspect, illustrating ways in which women can and unfortunately do demean and malign one another.
While I found the metaphor-laden storytelling engaging, my admiration does not extend much further, as the remainder of the movie is a disheveleand incoherent experience.
Horror tropes employed are clichéd and though the cinematography attempts to be inventive couple of times, it largely comes off generic. The characters are one-dimensional too, with only Soha Ali Khan's portrayal of "Dasi Ma" offering some degree of significance and depth.
I was most unimpressed by the climax; it seemed to have aimed for a narrative twist very reminiscent of 'Hastar' from Tumbbad, but ultimately falls short of achieving the desired aftereffect and this ineffectiveness is compounded by a seemingly desperate effort to set up a third installment in the series, making it clear that the 'ending' wasn't really the 'end'.
