However, one character who is often overlooked, both in the original and modern shows, is Ashley Banks.

Like the original Avatar: The Last Airbender before it, the anime-style cartoon The Legend of Korra has some truly spectacular episodes in its run. Some episodes of these shows are just setup or borderline filler episode, with "Remembrances" being a clip show episode in The Legend of Korra, but some episodes are first-rate entertainment from beginning to end. Those are the episodes that fans remember the most, packing all kinds of action, plot twists, drama, and comedy into just 20 minutes or so.

The very best The Legend of Korra episodes are strong in each of their scenes, and a few of them are one huge scene focusing on a single conflict, such as endgame boss battles against Avatar Korra's worst enemies. In the past three seasons, many of the original Fresh Prince actors have cameoed in the Bel-Air reboot, giving a nod to the original show. However, the original "fresh prince" has yet to make his appearance, and it might be for the best.

We’re getting a first look at the late John Amos in NBC’s Suits LA pilot in a just-released episodic photo. Amos, who died at the age of 84, was cast in a guest-starring role in the pilot from Aaron Korsh, which was picked up to series in July. It is the iconic actor’s final role.

In the pilot, Amos played himself as a client at Ted’s (Stephen Amell) law firm who also has a longstanding friendship with Ted. While Amos’ guest appearance was not conceived as part of an ongoing arc, we hear there was a potential for him to recur. He will now be seen in the pilot only, which will air when the series debuts later this season.

NBC has yet to make a decision on whether the episode will be dedicated to Amos.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air not only launched Will Smith's career but also featured surprising guest stars, fun fashion trends, and great messages.

Peacock's drama series, Bel-Air, follows teenage Will as he transitions from the rough streets of Philadelphia to the glamorous, lavish environment of Bel-Air to live with his relatives. After news was announced of an official remake, I was very skeptical about the project. However, as the series progresses through three seasons, there is no denying that Bel-Air has been a great re-imagined series. It has created new stories while also honoring the original Will Smith show.

In a world of remakes, Bel-Air has been one of the more classy, socially relevant ones. This Peacock TV series focused on Jabari Banks' Will Smith, but with a more serious, dramatic edge in Los Angeles. While it has bits of comedy to it like its predecessor, it really dials down into the Black experience of Will and his peers.

Season 3 of Bel-Air pulls no punches, dealing with social justice issues, class warfare, and, as expected, matters of the heart within the Banks empire. Unfortunately, one romance takes a particularly dark turn in the finale. This comes via the love story between Hilary and Lamarcus on their honeymoon night.

The update on Bel-Air season 4 is concerning, considering how season 3 ended on a major cliffhanger. Season 3 of Bel-Air added in several new and old storylines to the Peacock remake, increasing the tension as each character went through a whirlwind of a summer. That being said, the chances of that tension getting resolved are less likely after the creator's response to Bel-Air's renewal was unfortunately less than certain about whether the series would get a season 4.

Showrunner and executive producer Carla Banks Waddles, after Bel-Air's season 3 ending was released by Peacock, mentioned that she was uncertain on if the series would get renewed. The fact that season 4 of Bel-Air is not guaranteed is somewhat disheartening, as so many of its storylines had quite a bit of potential. Jabari Banks says the biggest shocker of “Bel-Air” Season 3 was finding out that Lou (Marlon Wayans), Will Smith’s estranged father, had settled in Los Angeles without telling him.

“What really shocked me was that Lou was there the whole time,” Banks told TheWrap. “That was pretty shocking to me.”

The moment Banks is referring to is in Episode 1: “Baby, I’m back.” And that’s exactly what Lou, who is played by Marlon Wayans, has done — returned. In the episode, Will just so happens to run into Lou while Will and his cousin Carlton are out getting a bite to eat.
