The main location for the film suffered a huge fire a year after shooting. This has been linked to 'the curse of the tapes'.
The masks for the film were bought in the party shop in Clapham. The shop burnt down in the London riots of summer 2011.
The film contains a hidden tarot reading that only true tarot readers will see.
The film was not due to be set in the snow, but a massive snow storm the night before the first day of shooting made it so. Though treacherous, it was decided the snow gave the film an eerie atmosphere.
The entire budget including all post production was just £17,000.
