Let this be a lesson to all that Xzibit is no longer in the car pimping game. The rapper and former host of MTV’s “Pimp My Ride” was asked by a fan via Twitter on Saturday to help trick out her car, but he didn’t feel like obliging. “@xzibit can you pimp my ride?” the fan asked. “No bitch, shits been over for a decade. Get a job,” he responded on Sunday. Also Read: 'Empire' Adds Xzibit to Cast as Rival to Lucious in Season 2 When another fan accused X to the Z of being ungracious to his fans,...

Heed Celebrity Big Brother's language warning during the show tonight, because Austin lets rip at Janice in a highly aggressive and foul-mouthed rant.
Highlights will show a furious Austin lambast the former supermodel, calling her a "f**king embarrassment of a mother" and a "stupid f**king bitch".
It all starts when Austin learns he has been nominated by James Hill, and the pair bicker at length.
The American accuses James of "[drinking] the Kool-Aid" and being "brainwashed" by Janice.
When Janice comforts James in the bedroom, calling Austin "wrong" and "out of line", Austin walks in and begins his tirade.
"You are a terrible example of a woman and a mother," he shouts. "Your children would be so embarrassed. You're the f**king worst excuse for a woman ever."
Janice responds by sticking her middle fingers up, to which Austin says: "You're such a good mother to throw your...

At WonderCon this weekend, I had a fun time covering the Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney Television Animation: Careers at Disney Animation panel with Camille Eden (Manager, Recruitment), Matt Roberts (Artistic Recruiter), and Brooke Keesling (Director, Talent Development) who shared some of the different creative roles that help make animated films and television shows. The discussion was moderated by Disney animator Darrin Butters, who worked on Big Hero 6 and Frozen, and offered a behind-the-scenes look at this amazing art form. The panel began with a short screening showcasing Disney Studios’ most popular film and television animation and ended with an audience Q&A. The panelists talked about the different approaches of each studio; what it’s like working within a vertical studio where everything is done in-house; the development process in the studio pipeline; the collaborative, fast-paced, and fun working environment; how art and technology are combined; how...

Robson Green has admitted that he is "living the dream" with his latest series Ultimate Catch.
The Grantchester and Strike Back star returns to Quest this week for his latest fishing adventure, in which he travels around the world in search of some of the most sought-after fish, such as the Golden Dorado in Bolivia.
He told Digital Spy: "So many people and professional anglers come up to me and say, 'You are the luckiest actor on the planet', and I just reply and say, 'I'm a hard working actor'. I do a lot of prep and my father used to say, 'The harder you work the luckier you get', and 'Get a job you love, then you never have to work again in your life'.

Would you like to earn your living watching movies all day? Ever wondered how Netflix comes up with all the categories and tags they assign to your favorite movies and TV shows? Do you think you can come up with something better than “Cult Evil Kid Horror Movies“? Do you live in Ireland or the UK?
Well now’s your chance to work for Netflix doing exactly that. A link to a Netflix job listing surfaced on Reddit Monday evening for a UK/Ireland Tagger in their Content and Product Management division.
Presumably it’s someone’s job to provide Netflix’s algorithm with all its necessary data, and the job description writes that “Successful applicants will be responsible for watching and analyzing films and TV programmes that will be streaming on Netflix in the future. The tagger will deconstruct the films and programmes and describe them using objective tags.

Marc and Brenda Lhormer are the Founders and current Heads of this wonderful event which we have attended, and worked at in various roles, since its beginning.
I always use this Fest when speaking as the best model of a regional Film Festival that I know. In other words I find it a perfect blending of high current level film culture, works and people from the biz and film production world with a community that is film centric, loyal and always hospitable to us 'outsiders'.
May I also add that personally the Northern California Wine Country (which the Fest uses superbly!!) is one of my favorite places anywhere for many years now.
I look forward to attending and supporting this great event this coming up version, November 13 – 17.
From their official announcement -

“Who’s going to believe a talking head? Get a job in a sideshow! “
Any film that features scream queen Barbara Crampton tied up and stripped down while a live, lascivious severed head drools all over her luscious bod has gotta be doin’ something right! The guys at Destroy The Brain.com have dusted off Re-animator for their monthly Late Night Grindhouse midnight series this weekend (June 7th and 8th)
Re-animator was the stylish and wonderfully wild 1985 feature film debut for Stuart Gordon, based on H.P. Lovecraft’s 1922 story “Herbert West, Re-Animator”. West is an arrogant young medical student who believes he’s unlocked the secret to reanimating dead tissue, thanks to his glowing-green liquid known as “Re-Agent”. West, played by Jeffrey Combs, comes into the life of promising doctor-to-be Dan Cain (Bruce Abbott) and thoroughly changes his life for the worst, as bodies and body parts start to come to demonic life.

Legendary thespian Malcolm McDowell will again be in the middle of another creepy tale when The Employer is released next month by First Look Pictures. McDowell sat down with Dread Central to talk about the film and some other current projects.
Although The Employer is not a dyed-in-the-wool horror film, more of a genre-bender according to the actor, it certainly will entertain audiences with a chilling story. "It's not an out and out horror film per se," McDowell said. "Sort of a psychological thriller/horror. It's a little bit fuzzy as to what genre it is. But it's a fun piece. We did it on a very modest budget. I liked the script. It's definitely a character-driven piece, and our director, Frank Merle, did a great job. It's a fun ride."
And speaking on the director, McDowell continued with the accolades. "This is his first feature film, but it certainly won't be his last,...

It seems like just yesterday that Adam Green's artful use of Internet marketing heralded the arrival of Hatchet, its mock trailer offering the promise of a back-to-basics slasher trumpeted as the return of 'old school American horror' with some of the genre's most respected icons.
Jump forward six years to present day, and a hungry Hatchet fan base are looking forward to the imminent release of the third chapter, testament to the widespread appeal of Victor Crowley, Green's gloriously old school, axe-wielding creation. Foregoing some much needed sleep to speak with us, the filmmaker gracefully sat down to talk of the second season of his and fellow genre director Joe Lynch’s horror comedy sitcom "Holliston" (Blu-ray / DVD review here), his producing gig on Hatchet III, and his scribe duties on the upcoming Chris Columbus-produced kids’ monster-fantasy Killer Pizza. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney joked that ‘X-Factor’ judge Briteny Spears should get a job in a new online promo spoof for the singing competition, Celebuzz is reporting. The spoof features the former Governor of Massachusetts and President Barack Obama, as their second debate is re-imagined as an ‘X-Factor’ audition. If only everyone understood that just because they have a thought, they don't need to tweet about it. The ability to grasp that concept might have saved country singer and "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton from an embarrassing tiff with his Twitter followers.
On July 27, Shelton made the odd choice to boast about how he deliberately ran over a turtle with his car:
Does anyone know if the Eastern Box turtle is protected in Oklahoma? If so I didn't just swerve to the shoulder of the road to smash one...
— Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) July 27, 2012
Not surprisingly, the Twittersphere responded with concern and anger. NPR blogger Barbara J. King replied to Shelton's tweet, asking if it was a bad joke:
"That turtle's life meant something- was your tweet a bad joke? Why would you be so cruel to a living being?”
Shelton, in return, told her to "Shut up..."

Today, Ain’t It Cool News debuted a clip from Expendables 2, in which Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham zip down a zipline into a jungle and kill a whole bunch of dudes. At one point, it almost looks like they’re going to die. But then — spoiler alert — they don’t die! Anyhow, the important thing to remember is that Sylvester Stallone was born one year after World War II ended, and he’s still ziplining into a jungle, so what’s your excuse? Get a job, hippie!

Locked and Loaded: The name of this Western, selling like hotcakes at Cannes, is Jane Got a Gun, but don’t expect the usual-usual. Natalie Portman (above, in Thor) is attached to star and produce and Lynne Ramsey (We Need to Talk About Kevin) is attached to direct, which indicates something out of the ordinary is in the works. The plot involves a woman who must reach out to an ex-lover when her outlaw husband returns home nearly dead, too weak to defend their farm from his vengeful gang. [The Hollywood Reporter] Get a Job: Pursued as a film project almost since it was first published in 1980, John Kennedy Toole’s A Confederacy of Dunces appears to be in motion again, with James Bobin (The Muppets) in negotiations to direct and Zach Galifianakis attached to star. Stephen Colbert continued hammering away at Karl Rove and Super PACs on Tuesday night, talking more in-depth about the way 501(c)(4)'s, or "Spooky PACs", use huge sums of anonymous money to influence politics.
"Their negative attack ads count as charity, in the same way that yelling, 'Get a job you dirty bum!' is a donation to the homeless."
The host also explained how Rove uses money raised through his own 501(c)(4), Crossroads Gps, to donate to the Center For Individual Freedom, which is "aggressively toppling disclosure laws at the state level." As Colbert put it, "That's Karl Rove giving anonymous political money to help keep political money anonymous. I believe that's what our founders envisioned for democracy. No, not those founders... the anonymous ones in the back."

Liam Hemsworth, the younger brother of Chris Hemsworth), will appear in two highly anticipated films this year, The Hunger Games and The Expendables 2. Now the young star will appear in Phillip Noyce sci-fi movie titled Timeless. Moviehole reports that the actor will play as a young man who iis haunted by the unresolved issues between himself & his late wife and uses the money she left to him to build a time machine so that she can see her for one final time. Written by Enchanted screenwriter Bill Kelly, the movie has a possibility of being a great love story. I’m sure that Hemsworth will be able to put The Last Song behind him, given that he is in two highly anticipated movies this year. Relativity Media will distribute the movie.

What is Movie News After Dark? It’s a nightly movie news column that is celebrating Monday Funday with what amounts to a bunch of shenanigans. Don’t worry though, we’ve slipped in at least one legitimate piece of news. We’ll get to that shortly. We begin tonight with something found a few weeks ago via Warming Glow, where an image from the Twitter account of Charley Koontz, best known as Fat Neil on Community, shows that Executive Producer Dan Harmon is just as bitter about Community‘s ratings as the rest of us. Seriously, who is the Nielsen Family? In other news, I hope Dan Harmon never changes. Since then the director has given us the less-seen Ps, and more recently some episodes of Adult Swim's Children's Hospital, but Kidd is now finally set to return to cinema screens with Get A Job.The film has the zeitgeisty idea of following a group of recent university graduates facing the fact that, in the current economic climate, they're going to struggle to land satisfying careers. Or any job at all. It's being set up at CBS, where it's attracting some serious attention.Rising star Miles Teller (Rabbit Hole, Footloose, 21 And Over, Project X) is in talks to take the lead, and there's also been interest from Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jay Pharaoh, Anna Kendrick and Bryan Cranston. Nicky: “You’re Fired.” [Laughtrack] Jake: But what am I gonna tell Emily, she’ll kill me! Nicky: Psh, women. “Get a job, gimmie money, do...

It's one of the great paradoxes of our time, in line with Bristol Palin's campaign for teen abstinence, genuine pleather and, gosh, is Jessica Simpson actually really smart? Now Patti Stanger, creator and tour de force behind Bravo's hit reality show "Millionaire Matchmaker" gears up for season five of television's most exclusive club in high spirits — and highly single.
To her credit, what Patti sells isn't guaranteed marriage or even coupledom — not to the aloof-but-wealthy men she coaches, or to the sexed-up women she reigns in for the meet-and-greet sessions she calls "mixers." That's usually the case, at least, though Patti's worked with millionairesses and gay millionaires too.

Apparently Lilly narrowly beat out Sackhoff for the leading role in the upcoming robot battle flick Reel Steal. Sackhoff said: "I am so much bigger than her, I could hurt her in a second. But she's Canadian and they're vicious sometimes. Because they're so nice, I think they keep it all in. Those Canadians, you never know what you're going to get." Um, in the case of Lilly, I think we all know what you get. You get Kate, the most obnoxious, simpering, manipulative wench to ever helm a popular show. Sackhoff also awesomely referred to Lilly as "what's-her-name."' You can read the...
