I am enjoying this series but sadly I have to agree with the other reviewers. Faith Jenkins is just cringe in this. I'm sure she is a lovely person. I never did watch her other shows so she may have done well in those. This show is just not her ministry.
It seems like she is over acting for effect and it's frankly just awkward. I dont think the commentary is necessary.
All of the stories are so sad. I'm currently watching the polygamy case. These men are so awful. The most shocking so far was the BC Canada case of the mother who hired hit men to kill her ex-daughter in law.
I really enjoy watching these types of shows although they are pretty grim but I find it helps me to be very cautious when it comes to men.

Faith is overqualified to be hosting a show like "Killer Relationships." She has many talents but they're all demeaned on "Killer Relationships." If you've been successful as a tv courtroom judge, the last place I'd expect you to turn up is hosting a show that requires no academic credentials. Further, the show's premise is meaningless, ie, "Killer Relationships." All shows of this kind, eg, Dateline model, include so-called "Killer Relationships." It's painful to see Ms. Jenkins gesturing and looking seriously into the camera, then pausing for emphasis before the words "Killer Relationships."
The crimes that they portray are very interesting and they do a good job of presenting it but Faith...I cringe every time she talks. She is so full of herself, if I hear one more time how she was a prosecutor or a judge (not a real judge, she does Divorce Court on tv). I would give the show a 10 but rated it down because of her. Please get someone else as host!!
I sat through the first season but I don't know if I can watch any more seasons if she's still in it. I don't have a problem with her voice she's okay when she's not putting in her own two cents worth into the narrative. Anyways - good crime show just need a new host.

Just horrible on camera. So full of herself. Almost every sentence out of her mouth begins with 'when I was...' know what Faith? NO ONE CARES. They need to cancel her contract. Complete waste of time. Please fire her and hire a trained ostrich to use sign language. At least the show would be watchable.
Cases are very interesting and coverage of the families and friends stories always adds more depth. Done with empathy and without making it too much like entertainment but the host should be cut out. The amount of times she says "because of my career as a prosecuter/judge" etc is cringey, we're here to listen to the story of the victim, not your C. V.
