Continuity

At the 24 hours of Daytona, the engineer complains that they still have 10 hours to go. Sonny took over at midnight and had run a few laps. The race ends at 3:00 PM, 15 hours from the time Sonny started.
In one of his first races, when Hayes is being lapped by Valtteri Bottas, identified by his Alfa Romeo #77 livery - later footage shows Bottas in a Sauber suit around the Abu Dhabi GP. Filmed across both 2023 and 2024, this is a continuity error: Bottas appears in two different team gears within the same film time line (although Sauber did inherit Alfa Romeo).
During a scene at a bar, the beer in the glasses fluctuates from mostly full to near half and back.
In the beginning the tire covers are put on the car then in shots after when the kids are climbing on the car the tire warmers are missing.
When Rubens is signing checks, you can clearly see the British Pound symbol. However, the amount in words clearly says 'cents' at the end, when it should be 'pence'.

Factual errors

In the final race in Abu Dhabi, Sonny Hayes shows up just before the race to participate in it. However, FIA regulations state that a driver change can be made before qualifying starts. Since the movie shows that everyone was surprised by the change of drivers at the race start, it means that Hayes didn't take part in qualifying, thus he shouldn't be eligible to race.
In one scene, Hayes drifts off the track spraying gravel on the track. That causes a Virtual Safety Car (VSC) to be deployed to clean the track. If gravel on the track needs to be removed, the race must be neutrilized by a Red Flag or a full Safety Car (SC) to give the marshals enough time to sweep the gravel off. VSC will only slow cars down but they'll keep their distances, meaning the marshals won't have enough window to clean the track.
When JP is in the lead and about to be overtaken, both cars have their rear wing open for DRS. As JP was leading the race with no back markers in front of him, he would not have been eligible for DRS and his rear wing should not be open.
There is strictly no smoking in ANY pit lane in any sanctioned race that Sonny would have competed in, therefore the team manager doing so at 24h race is incorrect.
The fireworks shown at the Daytona 24h are not only shown in the wrong place but also the don't drop onto the track as shown. The fireworks are set off from inside the circuit over the internal lake, therefore how the fireworks are shown would not be in that position.

Revealing mistakes

In the last race in Abu Dhabi, Pearce fights with Lewis Hamilton for the lead. But the Mercedes shows in close takes the number 6, which is George Russells number. Lewis has the number 44.
During the crisis meeting at APX GP's "headquarters" (the McLaren team base in real life) Ruben is sat in front of Ayrton Senna's 1990 championship-winning McLaren. Assuming that Formula 1 in-universe followed parallel to the seasons of the real world, a car like that would be nearly-priceless and certainly not for sale, especially not to a fledgling team owner. This gives away that the team base is really McLaren's.

Miscellaneous

In multiple races, the car ahead uses its drag reduction system (DRS) when in reality, only cars behind another (within 1 second) are allowed to use DRS.
The Apex GP team should have been disqualified as them cheating is blatantly obvious as they used tactics similar to the 2008 Singapore GP , and the fact that the f1 world knew what they were doing as well.
If the movie is set during 2023 season (the time filming begun), Sonny Hayes would not have been able to use driver number 7. This is due to a FIA rule stating that a driver's number can be re-issued only after it has been retired for two full seasons. Kimi Räikkönen drove with number 7 in 2021 and therefore Sonny Hayes would only have been able to select number 7 for 2024 F1 season. However in the movie the time line is not really established to be any particular year.

Anachronisms

Hayes's first test takes place without even the most basic preparation, such as a seat fitting. Instead, simply jumps into the car as-is, and is not even introduced to his engineer until midway through his first lap.
It is ludicrous to suggest Hayes could simply be placed into the team after 30 years away. Driving in F1 requires an FIA Superlicence, for which Hayes would be totally ineligible given his recent racing activity.

Errors in geography

Joshua Pierce's flip in the last corner (Parabolica) of Monza, Italy, but land and ignite in the Sheene curve at Brands Hatch, England.

Plot holes

In the very first race before he even gets to F1, he comes out of the pit and immediately goes from 7th to 4th, even though the other cars had been out on the track pulling farther ahead while his car was in the pit.
