Puthiya Mugham

He carried the entire film in his shoulders. Apart from few flaws, it's highly recommended.

Plot:

Krishnakumar, a Brahmin, joins an engineering college in a city. Anjana, a fellow student, falls in love with him, and soon his life takes a turn when her fiance, Sudhi, attacks him out of jealousy.

More info: Puthiya Mukham was a major commercial success at the box office and was noted for making Prithviraj Sukumaran as a superstar in the Malayalam film industry. While the film was dubbed in Tamil with the same name and in Telugu as Yama Mudhuru.

I loved picha vecha nal song a lot. Thattum thattum song was peppy and bala danced very well. Kaane kaane song gives you an adrenaline rush. Rest of the two songs are forgettable. Action scenes are shot in a different camera angle. That's it. Rest of the aspects are not upto the mark. Story has no logic, script is below average, there is no chemistry between lead pair, caricaturish villains, no comedy and lot of over the top heroism you see in tamil and telugu films. At the time of puthiya mugham release, prithviraj gave an interview that malayalees watch allu arjun, mahesh babu, nagarjuna and venkatesh's larger than life films because films like puthiya mukham don't come in malayalam. That's why it looks like some tamil telugu mass film.
