Most docs do not have people as close to the event to tell the story.

Most crime docs tell you what to think.

The Real Cops & Robbers stands in opposition to that by presenting the story from both sides. Taking accounts from people close to the events and letting people formulate their own opinion.

If you heard about or thought you knew the story this really is must watch.

Will be keeping an eye out for what the director does next.

TLDR: Good crime doc focusing on both sides without forcing a predetermined narrative.

What an incredible look into an amazing two side story! Especially being from the area this took place in a lot of the people and places were so relatable and were superbly honest - in this day and age that is a rarity as it is!

The descriptions and details on how this all unfolded from both sides over time opened my eyes to both the criminal side and the side of law - personally I preferred the criminal side but that's just my preference!

Thoroughly enjoyed sitting down and taking all the information in and formulating my own opinion from the two story's - I would definitely recommended!👏🏻👏🏻

This was a fantastic True Crime Documentary, the production was amazing and well put together, being able to get the original members to agree to tell their side could not have been easy to do. I commemorate all those invloved in getting this masterpiece made.

After watching this documentary I definitely had a view on both parties involved and the mindset they had at that time, you could definitely see that alot of effort had been made to make that the story was told correctly and truthfully.

I am more than happy to recommend this documentary to friends and family, absolute blinder, cant wait to see what comes next.

This captivating film tells the story of a crime from both sides. It reveals a depth of storytelling that does not often appear it many 'true crime' docs. It is beautifully shot and deftly constructed, giving the viewer a powerful insight into this specific crime and its investigation.

The film's strength is in its simplicity. It has gained access to an extraordinary range of characters who clearly trust the filmmakers enough to freely open up.

Most films in this genre tend to hide very thin stories behind lavishly over produced assaults on our senses, The Real Cops & Robbers, on the other hand, is pure storytelling at its best.

I must say I loved every aspect of this true crime documentary. I myself have worked on plenty of documentaries, tv series and movies and watched plenty in my time. This in particularly had a real unique feel. The way it has been directed is so refreshing and had me engaged for the whole duration.

It was very clear and easy to follow. The information that has been gathered to create a truly eye opening film is outstanding and must've taken a lot of time to gather and prep. It's also good to get two sides of the story from both the police officers and the robbers. Truly genius from the whole team.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a real London crime documentary, great story from start to finish. 10/10!
