a dream

A girl. Her dream. The kick to transform it in reality , offered by a tough competition . One of her rivals - her best friend.

The basic idea reminds, in obvious manner, Gattaca. A competition between Naturals against Engeenears sounds more realistic today than in 1990 s and the great work of young Rene Leech is an obvious good point.

In short, a good script, few well used nuances - from relation mother + daughter to second chance and limits of friendship - a couple dramatic scenes and admirable end.

In essence - more than a good Sci. Fi. But smart portrait of presumed next future and nice image of becoming reality the dreams, like the love of mother.
