Seems what a lot of the reviews say here are spot on. Well for two pounds 💷 you get what you pay for innit. Wasn't really a good zombie film 📼 I didn't think so, but it passed away an hour and a half. So OK I suppose you win some you loose some. Not what I call a biffin good movie 🎦. So never mind I have Dario Argento tonight Inferno should be good 📼 watching, jacey out review over.
I can handle my fair share of "cheese", but this one just sucks on any meter. Terrible acting, terrible script and horrible directing make Zombie Apocalypse one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I really had a problem sitting through this mess of a movie. The zombies were not even scary. I was even rooting for the zombies. I was hoping they would kill everyone else off before the first 15 minutes and the movie would just end. It really seemed like a gang of friends with some camcorders just went to some abandoned buildings out in the woods and just did a weekend take. I rented this at my local video store. It was on the new release section next to Zombieland. I am going to give them a hard time for having this on the new release section.
1: Terrible Acting
I've seen better in other low budget films. The scene in the bar just.... I couldn't wait till they killed off the "security" guard. He was just so bad!
2: The Actors The main guy why did he have to speak like that? It was just annoying! The most annoying characters were the bar's security then the one guy at the start who's voice is just.... it's just as bad or worse as the main guys. The one guy in the scrubs was decent and his friend kinda like the 2 college students together but everyone else was just either annoying or killed off.
3. Cheap don't mean lazy. If they would have put the time and effort in this could have been decent.

While this is a relatively low budget movie, they do great work! it portrays a great plot, it was just simply outstanding. Who was miller? I am still wondering to myself 8 years later. This movie often comes up in conversation at dinner with my family. Every night we sit and wonder what happened to miller.. is he dead, is he alive, I NEED TO KNOW.
The cinematics were great, especially with the scene where the two by four was used to conk the zombie in the head and guts splattered everywhere. Genius.
Directing was on point as well. Loved the "Lets Party" scene, got me excited for the rest of the film and the action that was going to occur. Was not disappointed with what followed to say the least. The acting as well as the dialogue was advanced in a sense to it made you think on a deeper level, " what if you were in their shoes"
The ending scene left me wanting more. This movie fulfilled my need and itch for a good scare and a good laugh.
Overall, a great film to watch with the family, the kids, or the boys.
Cant wait for the sequel!

Was just awful. The blood looked like tomato juice and the acting was god awful. Who ever made this was a moron. If you want a good film watch Quarantine 2 or REC. After the first few minutes I turned it off. I rented this film from family Video thinking "Sounds Good". I was horribly wrong. Seriously this film had to be a joke because it sucked so bad. I bet a bunch of monkeys could come up with a better zombie film. The worst part is they are coming out with a sequel to this piece of trash. Now time for some random stuff because I can't think of anything else. I bet REC Genesis will be better. When will the directors learn?
