The Odyssey cast continues to expand. Joining leads Matt Damon and Tom Holland in the upcoming Christopher Nolan movie are Jesse Garcia and Will Yun Lee.

Deadline was the first to report their casting in the movie. Both Garcia and Lee's roles remain under wraps. They join an all-star ensemble that includes Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Benny Safdie, and Charlize Theron, as well as Himesh Patel, Elliot Page, Bill Irwin, and Samantha Morton. Production on The Odyssey is expected to start in February 2025, with filming taking place in the United Kingdom, Morocco, and throughout the Aeolian Islands in Sicily, Italy. The movie will reportedly have an estimated production budget of $250 million, making it Nolan's third feature to carry a budget exceeding $200 million after Tenet ($200M) and The Dark Knight Rises ($250M).

Take Cover is yet another take on one of, if not the most used plots in film, ready for retirement the protagonist, be they a spy, thief or killer for hire, agrees to one last job only to have it all go sideways. In this case, it’s Sam Lorde who we first see on a roof along with his spotter Ken talking about God as they wait for their target to arrive.

Their target does arrive, and they get their kill, but Sam also kills a woman who seemingly throws herself in front of him trying to save him. He retreats to his cabin in the woods to deal with this, and when their boss Tamara contacts him with his next assignment he tells her it will be his last.

Kill ‘Em All 2 picks up seven years after the events of the original, which makes sense since there’s seven years between the films, with Phillip reconnected with his daughter Vanessa and the two of them hiding out in southern Italy.

They obviously didn’t do a good job of it, as within the film’s first few minutes they’re attacked by goons working for Vlad Petrovic who is out to avenge the death of his brother Dimitri who was killed in the first film. This puts them on the run, trying to stay alive long enough to deal with Vlad and his crew, and the only way to do that is to kill ’em all.

Who new that some 11 years after the series started Wrong Turn 6 would come along to cement the franchise as the modern successor to Tobe Hopper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The line-up for this year's Film4 FrightFest in London has just been announced – and boy, is it a doozy! Sporting a record-breaking 38 UK/European premieres and 11 world premieres, this August is going to be an exciting time in the genre calendar.

This year Film4 FrightFest will be moving from its previous home at Leicester Square's Empire Cinema to the nearby Vue Cinema (also on Leicester Square), prompting an ingenious reshuffle of the screening arrangements.

All main screen films will be presented at different times across three different screens, with two extra screens reserved for single-slot screenings of the various films hitting this year's Discovery Screens.

Irish director Declan O'Brien has been replaced by Re-kill director Valeri Milev for the sixth installment in the Wrong Turn series. It has been ten years since actress Eliza Dushku played Jessie, a woman chased by a gang of cannibal hillbillies. A ten year run with five sequels makes the Wrong Turn film series one of the longest running horror franchises in recent history. And, a few updates have been released for Wrong Turn 6. This production has already started shooting in Sophia, Bulgaria. As well, several casting announcements have been released. Most recently, Sadie Katz of House of Bad (2013) fame has joined the cast, along with: Aqueela Zoll (Killjoy Goes to Hell), Anthony Ilott, Chris Jarvis, Rollo Skinner and Billy Ashworth. Fox Entertainment will produce this latest sequel as it did with Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines. Story details are being kept in mystery. However, horror fans can preview more cast and crew details below.

Yesterday we got an e-mail stating that House of Bad's Sadie Katz was cast in Wrong Turn 6, which is currently filming in Bulgaria. We sat on it because we were told a more fleshed out official release was on the way. In the interim Bloody Disgusting did some digging and found out a whole lot more.

Fox has gone in a new direction, tapping Re-Kill‘s Valeri Milev to direct the fifth sequel to the outback slasher franchise.

In addition, the entire cast has been revealed: Killjoy Goes to Hell‘s Aqueela Zoll leads the roster alongside Anthony Ilott, Chris Jarvis, Rollo Skinner, Billy Ashworth, Joe Gaminara, Harry Belcher, Raymond Steers, Luke Cousins, Tabitha Luke Eardley and Roxanne Pallett.

Psst, remember Re-Kill?  That found footage zombie effort that was supposed to come from After Dark Films?

We've learned the film's delay has been attributed to the schedules of both director Valerie Milev - who was pulled away to film Code Red - and Courtney Solomon who went to direct the film Getaway with Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez and Jon Voight.

While Milev is credited with directing the film, Solomon has had a heavy hand in the production and Re-Kill is being considered a "collaborative" effort.  This process got interrupted during post-production while both went off to shoot other project.

Something dawned on me the other day. I was watching Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning when I thought to myself, “Whatever happened to that Scott Adkins’ zombie flick ‘Re-Kill?’” Fearing I had simply missed its release, I jumped on Amazon to secure myself a copy. As it turns out, the damned thing hasn’t been released yet. Go figure. So where in the hell is director Valeri Milev’s seemingly action-packed zombie movie? News about the flick has pretty much dried up on the internet, which is never a good sign. A quick search doesn’t turn up anything promising; outside of a December 2012 release date in the UK by Lionsgate, there’s not a lot of info currently making the rounds. And the award for most dramatic headline of the day goes to... No matter how hard you try, no matter how many head shots you fire off, the living dead? They just keep on coming. Such is the case with the new film from the director of After Dark's Re-Kill entitled Code Red.

According to Variety eOne has inked a multi-territory deal, including U.S. rights, for Valeri Milev's Code Red, which was being shopped by Outsider Pictures at the American Film Market earlier this month.

The flick's story follows a female doctor struggling to find her daughter after a long lost World War II biological weapon explodes on a U.S. military base in Bulgaria, turning people into mutant zombies.

Milev, who recently directed Re-Kill for After Dark Films, will helm the film, which he says will present "a brand new type of zombie" for the screen.

Valeri Milev apparently has an incessant love for zombies. He helmed Re-Kill for After Dark Originals, next up is Code Red for eOne. Variety reports he'll begin rolling in March on a story that is "about a female doctor struggling to find her daughter after a long lost World War II biological weapon explodes on a U.S. military base in Bulgaria, turning people into mutant zombies." Milev is confident he bringing to the screen a type of zombie we have never seen before. The film is expected to be completed and ready for release by the end of next year. Re-Kill , meanwhile, is still awaiting a release date.

I didn’t pay much attention to this horror movie until I saw this extended movie clip for the film. Not bad.

After Dark Films has released exclusive footage of their upcoming zombie flick Re-kill over on their Facebook page. I don't want to be a downy downerson but there is a considerable lack of Scott Adkins in it. As in where the heck is he? And the film making has been stricken with a virus of its own. Shakycameratosis. But there is a tremendous amount of fire power in it. That has to count for something. And... fast zombies. ...

Lots of time has passed since word on the upcoming zombie horror feature Re-Kill has been spoken at the 28Dla's offices. And horror fans' patience will be rewarded with this extended clip for the feature. As well, After Dark Films has announced that their title will release in theatres in 2012. That is still a long wait, but likely those familiar with this title have already waited for at least a year already.

Re-Kill follows a Re-ans Division as they go about their gruesome work. This feature is shot documentary style with the R-d searching out re-ans, or zombies. 85% of the population has been affected by a virus and those left standing must use every weapon in their arsenal to get through another day. In the clip, the R-d investigates a house that is thought to be housing re-ans. The result is a firefight as a rookie struggles with a fast moving re-an.

I don't really know much about this Grindhouse style zombie movie called Re-Kill, but it is being directed by Valeri Milev for After Dark Film, and it looks insane! The production company released a six minute preview of footage from the movie, and it's nuts. The trailer has got a ton of adrenilin filled energy, most of it is way to shaky, but it's still very fun to watch.

Let’s face it… Special Makeup FX are the backbone of the horror genre. As engaging as storylines can be, as believable as acting is, and as competent as directing and cinematography are, fans pay money and put their asses in those seats or buy those DVDs and Blu-rays because they love the creatures.

The scarecrow themed horror feature Husk recently had a limited theatrical release through After Dark Films (Jan. 28th). Now, Husk will have a second premiere and this time the feature will be hosted on the SyFy network. The premiere begins February 5th at 9:00pm and a fourty second promotional trailer for this feature is below.

Also showing left is the DVD artwork for this feature, which asks fans to "join the harvest." Crows sit ominously nearby, as a faceless scarecrow promises future chills. Though we may not have had the opportunity to see Valeri Milev’s Re-Kill this past weekend, hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for the pseudo-documentary style film. The horror film documents the “R-Division’s” struggle to fight the “re-animates.” A new trailer has popped up online showing interviews with our team of soldiers, then switching to high-gear with some bloody carnage. Judging by the trailer, which you can find beyond the break, we might be in for a real treat.

The official release date for Re-Kill has yet to be announced since it was recently pulled from the After Dark Originals line-up this past week. We will certainly make you aware though, as soon as we hear anything.

Another trailer has come our way from the good folks at After Dark Films for their zombie-themed After Dark Original Re-Kill, and we figured we'd share it with ya!

The flick, which has been recently moved to an undetermined release date, stars Scott Adkins, Daniella Alonso, and Bruce Payne.

Check out the first trailer for the zombie actioner “Re-Kill”, another film on the After Dark Horrorfest 2011 schedule. The film stars Scott Adkins, putting away his fists of fury and picking up an assault rifle (along with some kind of strange accent, natch), along with Roger R. Cross, aka Curtis Manning from “24″. The action is shot in a documentary-like style, and is the directorial debut of one Valeri Milev. It looks very good — if you happen to like zombie action movies as opposed to, you know, zombie horror movies, that is. It was released pushed back to an undetermined release date, but here is After Dark Films' trailer for Re-Kill . Scott Adkins, Daniella Alonso and Bruce Payne star. Set five years after an outbreak, a zombie menace is supposed to be waning. But the brave men and women of R-Division, who find and destroy the undead, are seeing signs of a second Outbreak which humanity may not survive. The footage about the men and women of R-Division and their grim, dangerous but essential job of exterminating re-animated humans, was shot the week previous by an embedded journalist during a long, deadly day. Only the film survived.

Here's a motivator for not hitchhiking: "friends gratefully accept a ride in the back of a semi...the truck disgorges them into a dark, abandoned warehouse where blood-thirsty creatures learn to hunt human prey, which...they now are!" (After Dark). You could end up as lunchmeat! This is the basic premise for Prowl, one of the After Dark Originals.

Now, a feature trailer for this feature is provided and the timing could not be any better. Prowl releases with Seconds Apart, Fertile Ground, The Task, and Husk today (January 28th). The film which was set to debut today has shown a lot of promise for After Dark which is why the decision has been made to give it a wider release. The film stars Scott Adkins, Raicho Vasilev, Daniella Alonso, Bruce Payne and Roger Cross.

Just a few days ago we brought word that the good people at After Dark Originals were releasing a pretty sweet sounding post-apocalyptic zombie fest about a reality show where Swat teams go up against the undead. After Dark Originals is scheduled to unleash their wave of independent horror films this Friday in select theaters. And then there were five, can best be described as the new plan of attack for the “New Brand of Fear.” Originally set to be one of six films released, Re-Kill will not be on the roster this weekend. It's probably common knowledge now that After Dark Originals will be releasing a handful of original horror movies to theaters this coming Friday, but there's still some news to report. Today, the official announcement was made by After Dark that the Val Milev's zombie movie Re-kill will be added to the slate of films released on Friday, January 28th.

So, when all is said and done, the films Re-kill, Husk, Prowl, Fertile Ground, Seconds Apart and The Task will smash their way into select theaters. You'll want to check out the official After Dark Originals Theater Locator to see if the films will be playing near you.
