Cristóbal Balenciaga

I am absolutetly amazed by this series. First I loved the acting and was really impressed by the actors ability to speak perfect french and spanish, something you don't see nowhere in american productions.

I didn't know almost nothing about Balenciaga brand, except they came up with some ridiculous things in the past few years like the "ikea bag", the "towel skirt" etc, and of course the scandal from 2022, wich made so many people boycott them. Now after I saw the series I understand what a shame is to associate Cristóbal Balenciagas name to those things, especially when he didn't want the brand to even exist without him...

I was so impressed by the cinematography and the authenticity. The actors chosen to portrait the most influential French designers of all time, the costumes, the fact that everything is in the language that it's supposed to be, the music, everything is absolutely flawless and amazing.

I didn't know much about the brand Balenciaga and I am so happy to have watched this. Cristobal Balenciaga was a true artist, an ambitious and inovative creator, and Alberto San Juan played him beautifully. I'm sure that the real Señor Balenciaga would've liked it too.

I don't understand why this isn't more popular, I cannot recommend it more, it's really good!

What a beautiful, beautiful interpretation of one of the greatest haute couture designers that ever existed. It is an excellent insight into Cristobals life. Everyone who took part in this project did an outstanding job. I am amazed by the outstanding performances of the main actors. I wasn't familiar with them but after this show I will definitely be looking into their previous work. I hope this show is recognised for the work of art that it is. What a fantastic experience. I would definitely be rewatching this in time and I warm heartedly recommend it. I am happy I stumbled upon this show and I have binged it.
