The cast of Toony's pitched "Forensic Fish Files" TV series includes Toony, Goldie Fisher, Mr. Quizzer, "and Bill the Cartoon Curator as 'Bonky'" (Bill's childhood nickname).
At the time this episode first aired, Bride and Gloom (1954) (like all 1950s Popeye cartoons) had not yet been released on DVD or Blu-ray as part of the "authorized" restoration/distribution partnership between King Features and Warner Media, though the short had appeared on various public domain DVD compilations. The cartoon is presented here in an unrestored a.a.p. television print.
Featured recurring characters include Bill's Mom & Dad, flatulating hobo Boxcar ("It's Always About the Beans"), and Mr. Quizzer's nemesis Buddy Buzzer ("Iconic Game Show Host").
