New images reveal FBI: Most Wanted will have another crossover with FBI's Alana De La Garza. Viewers won't have to wait long for the crossover to air as De la Garza will appear in season 6, episode 2 "Varsity Blues." De La Garza has previously appeared in many episodes of FBI: Most Wanted as Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille. The new episode, which will air on October 22, will mark the actor's 13th appearance on the spinoff show.
The first-look images reveal Isobel joining the Fugitive Task Force to help them hunt down a missing teen from New Jersey. The images include Isobel with the Fugitive Task Force and Remy Scott appearing suspicious while looking through the trunk of a car. Executive producer David Hudgins tells TV Insider he enjoys bringing De La Garza in for crossovers. With characters in the FBI franchise working "in the same building," they like to do this "every chance we can.

Film, TV and games companies have big plans for legendary tights-wearer Robin Hood. Here’s our primer on all the new versions…
Note: we've taken images from old Robin Hood projects because these new films and things, um, don't exist yet. Maximum geek points to whoever can remember what they're all from.
You don’t need us to remind you, but these days Hollywood and TV executives seem to have one target in mind – big franchises, hopefully with spin-offs and tie-ins galore across all possible forms of media.
An interesting consequence of all this is that the entertainment industry has begun looking beyond capes and cowls in their ‘what can we make a franchise out of?’ discussions. ‘What about other sorts of legendary characters?’ you can imagine them asking, before a big eureka moment… ‘What about Robin bloody Hood?!’
Almost simultaneously, it seems like every studio in Hollywood has latched...

Though it's typically the faces in front of the camera that fans associate with a hit TV series, many of your favorite shows had some very famous people behind the scenes as well. From "Star Trek" to "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," legendary Emmy, Grammy and even Oscar winners helped create the shows that have become integral parts of TV history.
The tradition of big names producing signature shows continues this season with Rebel Wilson's "Super Fun Night" on ABC. Michael Westen is about to get caught up with a dirty cop on "Burn Notice" -- although you wouldn't know it to look at the guy.
The USA series has cast Antonio Jaramillo ("Meet the Browns," "Savages") in an upcoming episode, Zap2it has learned exclusively. He'll play a "slick" Miami Pd detective named Garza.
The character is an ends-justify-the-means kind of guy, meaning he's not necessarily against bending (or outright breaking) the rules if it results in putting criminals away. He also loves using the power that comes with a badge.
Sounds like just the kind of guy that Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) and his mates would love taking down a peg or two, doesn't it? They'll get their chance when Garza targets a newly released prisoner, who in turn seeks out Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) for help.
Jaramillo's other credits include episodes of "CSI: Miami" and "Outlaw" and the short-lived 2006 series "Fashion House.

Screen Rant’s Kofi Outlaw Reviews Snow White and the Huntsman
Snow White and the Huntsman re-imagines the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale as a Medieval fantasy epic, which starts off on a familiar note: A noble queen sees three drops of blood fall on fresh snow and wishes for a daughter who is just as fair. That daughter is born, but when the mother dies, the King, in his grief, takes on a new wife who proves to be his undoing. In this version, that evil queen is a man-hating sorceress named Ravenna (Charlize Theron), whose dark magic plunges the entire kingdom into despair and horror.

Kurt Sutter’s reputation in the cable TV game is firmly cemented, at least as far as we here at the Complex are concerned, by virtue of the introduction of Sons of Anarchy into the bloodstream of the American television viewing audience. That alone would earn him all the cred he needs to grab a seat at the head of the table.
Now, just to show off, Sutter will turn his fascination with all things transgressive toward a new Discovery series entitled Kurt Sutter’s Outlaw Empires, which will take audiences on a grand tour of the inner workings of a variety of criminal American institutions. According to Deadline, Empires will be a six-parter that covers a different group with each episode. Included on the list of subjects are the Crips, Outlaw Bikers, the Irish Mob, Nuestra Familia, the Italian Mafia, and the Aryan Brotherhood.

Guess who’s riding into Charming when Sons of Anarchy’s Fifth Season picks up this Fall? None other than small screen vet Jimmy Smits.
Smits, most recently seen on the defunct NBC drama Outlaw, will be playing a whole new type of outlaw on the FX biker drama.
Deadline reports that the venerable actor will play a tattoo-covered character named Neron “Nero” Padilla, further describing him as “a Latino gangbanger with an exit strategy who becomes a dangerous mentor for Jax [Teller].”
Those familiar with Smits’ body of work know that he’s best known for playing suit-and-tie wearing guys on the good side of the law, having won an Emmy as attorney Victor Sifuentes in L.A. Law. He later solidified his status as a great actor as detective Bobby Simone on NYPD Blue and Congressman (and later President) Matthew Santos in The West Wing.

Jimmy Smits is joining the cast of Sons of Anarchy next season as a dangerous gangster (aren't they all?), FX confirms. He'll play Nero, a tattoo-covered baddie who starts mentoring Jax. Just what Jax needs: more people coaching him on how to be scary and violent! Jimmy Smits can't seem to launch a pilot (Outlaw, Cane), but the guy sure can leave his mark on an established, prestigious drama: He did it on NYPD Blue, he did it on West Wing, he did it on Dexter. So now, naturally, it's motorcycle-gang time.

Exclusive: Bobby Simone is moving to the wrong side of the law. NYPD Blue alum Jimmy Smits is joining the upcoming fifth season of FX’s flagship drama Sons Of Anarchy for a major, season-long arc. On the dark biker soap, Smits will play Neron “Nero” Padilla, a Latino gangbanger with an exit strategy who becomes a dangerous mentor for Jax (Charlie Hunnam). Smits has played bad guys before, most notably the scheming Ada Miguel Prado in another season-long arc on a gritty cable drama, Showtime’s Dexter, but this marks a rare departure from Smits’ trademark shirt-and-suit look associated with most of his characters. Nero is envisioned as being heavily tattooed and definitely won’t be wearing a suit. He also is expected to be as dark and possibly even darker than Prado, a role that earned Smits an Emmy nomination. In addition to NYPD Blue and Dexter, Smits...

After having only Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter, The Big Hit) attached since the departure of Vince Vaughn, the film adaptation of 2 Guns is rumored to have its second gun in place in the form of Denzel Washington.
Based on the graphic novel by Steven Grant, the film - first announced last August - will follow a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who unwittingly investigate one another as each steals money from the mob.
Deadline reports that Washington (pictured above in The Book of Eli) is in discussions to join the project. No stranger to action flicks - including his upcoming thriller Safe House - the actor would work in front of director Baltasar Kormakur who recently guided Mark Wahlberg in this year's Contraband.

In the latest batch of fall TV premieres, one new comedy got off to a good start. And the other? Well, not so much. Wednesday's ratings results: Yeah, Baby! • Up All Night (10.9 million viewers): On one hand, the Christina Applegate-Will Arnett-Maya Rudolph parental comedy actually scored fewer viewers in its post-America's Got Talent time slot than Jimmy Smits' quickly dismissed Outlaw did last fall. On the other hand, Up All Night scored way more viewers who count (i.e., adults aged 18-49). The comedy was, in fact, the night's most demographically desirable show. David Ramsey will come on board the CBS drama this fall in the role of Carter Poole, a liberal community organizer who is known for a soft stance on crime. As you might expect, TV Guide reports, this view causes problems for the politician with Tom Selleck's Frank Reagan.
Ramsey should be a familiar face to TV fans. He has appeared on Dexter, Ghost Whisperer, Outlaw and The Defenders.

As every CSI fan will attest, there is no replacing William Petersen. Laurence Fishburne did an admirable job keeping the Las Vegas team intact for the last two years with his portrayal of Raymond Langston, but the CBS drama never recovered in the ratings once Gil Grissom rode into the sunset. The Fall TV Season presentations for all the new network shows take place this week with the first announced today. Here's a full breakdown of which concepts have made the final list over on NBC.
With Bob Greenblatt having replaced the outgoing Jeff Zucker, NBC is looking to turn around its dismal fortunes and has started by significantly cutting back on a bunch of shows which were simply not performing. This schedule takes some big risks with some new shows needing to perform if they're to survive, while two two-hour reality show blocks early in the week have certainly raised eyebrows.
There are twelve new shows in all, half of which are being held until mid-season. In the Fall, the biggest gamble is "Prime Suspect" - the U.S. remake of the iconic British police drama. With only the rarest of exceptions, American remakes of British shows have generally failed...
