Claire Danes is set to reunite with “My So-Called Life” creator Winnie Holzman for a new drama series in the works at HBO, TheWrap has learned.

The new series, titled “The Applebaum Curse,” is billed as an ongoing one-hour drama series about a dysfunctional family with Danes as the lead role, per the official logline. The show is still in early development at the network, an individual with knowledge told TheWrap.

Danes is attached to star in and executive produce the series, while Holzman would serve as writer, showrunner and executive producer for “The Applebaum Curse.”

The new series would reunite Danes and Holzman three decades after they worked together on “My So-Called Life,” which ran for just one year from 1994-95 on ABC. Spy x Family has released a new promo video spotlighting the series' famous "Cruise Adventure" arc -- a longtime favorite of readers of the manga.

Featured on Toho Animation's YouTube channel, the two-minute Pv teases some of the pulse-pounding action that awaits fans in future episodes. In the "Cruise Adventure" arc, Yor accepts a special mission where she must safeguard a client from a clan of elite assassins while aboard the famed "Princess Lorelei." However, the situation becomes more complicated when Loid and Anya join her after winning cruise tickets of their own. The arc's debut episode will premier on Nov. 4.

Filming for the upcoming Blade Runner television series could be delayed by an entire year. In 1982, director Ridley Scott used Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? as the basis for his science-fiction noir Blade Runner. Although the film initially received mixed reviews from critics and bombed at the box office, Blade Runner gained popularity on home release and has since become a revered cult classic. As a result, the film spawned a direct sequel Blade Runner 2049, starring Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling, an animated television series titled Blade Runner: Black Lotus, and an upcoming sequel show, Blade Runner 2099, set for Prime Video.

Paramount Television Studios has named Kim Rozenfeld as its new senior vice president of current television, the studio announced Thursday. In his latest role, Rozenfeld will oversee scripted projects for the television studio and for Paramount+. He will report to Cheryl Bosnak, executive vice president and head of current for Paramount Television Studios and Paramount+.

“I am delighted to welcome Kim to the Paramount Television Studios and the Paramount+ teams,” Bosnak said in a statement. “Kim brings with him an incredible wealth of experience, and he has a deep understanding of television in all its forms today. We are excited to have him across multiple projects.”

But after Covid restrictions took hold nationwide, they pivoted and evolved the indoor festival into an outdoor comedy drive-in set across the country at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Tribeca x Comedy Dynamics Drive-In featured hourlong comedy sets from Ester Steinberg, Dave Helem, Erica Rhodes and Daniel Webb — the first set of drive-in comedy specials filmed in the midst of the pandemic.

A lot has happened to The Good Doctor‘s Claire Browne in the three-and-a-half seasons since we first met the surgical resident. She reconnected with her mentally ill mother Breeze, then lost her in a drunk-driving accident. Then she fell in love with her boss, Dr. Neil Melendez, who died of internal injuries suffered in a building collapse.

Suffice it to say, Dr. Browne has been through it, and she deserves to be happy. And even though reconnecting with her estranged father is a promising first step, his return comes with a pretty big asterisk.

“My sister Phylicia Rashad will appear in [Episode 12] and bring true power, fun and grace in a role that touches a chord about the voice of the people,” Allen tells TVLine exclusively. “Our cast and crew gave her a standing ovation in honor of her presence. I gave her a slice of cornbread.”

Two upcoming ABC Family drama series have added new regulars: Chad Lowe has joined "Pretty Little Liars" and Gina Torres has come aboard "Huge."

In pilot castings, Greg Germann and Damon Gupton round out Fox's comedy "Strange Brew," Riki Lindhome has boarded CBS' comedy "Hitched," and Robbie Jones and Heather Hemmens have been added to the CW's "Hellcats."

"Liars," based on Alloy's series of novels, revolves around four teen girls -- Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Hanna (Ashley Benson) -- who begin to receive mysterious messages, seemingly from a girlfriend who disappeared three years earlier.

In a recasting, Lowe will play Aria's father. He replaces Alexis Denisof, who played the role in the pilot.

On "Huge," set at a weight-loss camp for teens, Torres will play Dr. Dorothy Rand.
