These shallow people claiming to represent Newport Beach are just transplants trying to change it to fit their own vanity. I couldn't afford to live where I grew up, so I had to move away from my friends and family. Am I bitter? Yup. Now these people get a show glamorizing their form of gentrification.
Please stop giving people like this shows? I would love to see the realities of the hustle of actual real estate agents. That would be interesting. Not a show of people getting in and out of their Ferrari's.
Why do reviews need to contain 600 characters? I ran out of things to talk about in this shallow show.

Most of the cast is very negative and intense. I am not sure how anyone sells houses with all of the toxicity. It's awful and extreme. Terrible cast members made the most of the show and it wasn't really about the houses or anything positive. The people naming bullies are the bullies and the way Alex Hall and Polly speak to people is beyond disgusting I am not sure why anyone allows them to have a televised job. There is tv drama and there are toxic people. This is next level and they are really abusive towards other cast members. I wish someone would do something to not allow such behavior while filming or be put out into the world. I was looking forward to this after selling sunset....this shouldn't be renewed it was hard to watch such angry and hostile people treat others with such abuse and not be asked to stop by anyone who could stop it.
Alex Hall and Polly make it impossible to watch more than half an episode at a time unless you fast forward while they're on screen. The mean girl energy all for the sake of attention is despicable. I like real estate so I had hopes that there would be actual real estate in this show, at least on the level of "Selling Sunset" which granted, isn't much. But it's almost non existent here.
The hypocrisy starts with the title. They aren't selling anything except themselves and badly at that.
The fact that the main focus is on the two most toxic people rather than anyone or anything else tells you all you need to know about it.
Don't waste your time on this one.

Pathetic series by Netflix. Focus is just on a group of bickering shallow women stereotyping the worst characteristics of cat fighting between them. It's a pointless series. No focus on the business of selling, little focus on the men selling, it's only about the squabbling bubbleheads and their bodies. Why not show these women as powerful business people being successful and managing the challenges of selling luxury real estate. Why go back to showing women as weak shallow self centred people. These shows put women back in time. Plot opportunity and consumer interest in seeing these luxury homes are many. Sure, show some personal issues and some of the dynamics of a team office but to only focus on the shallow bickering is a waste of viewers time. It's not even quality squabbling. Super disappointing. You can do so much better Netflix.
Love love love Selling Sunset. The women are gorgeous, stylish and classy whether they like each other or and they are professional in front of clients and Brett and Jason. We watched Selling OC hoping to see glamorous homes, the yachts, the cars, the glitter... some of that we got (thank you!) but the mean spirited drama, gaslighting, bullying was unwanted (shame on you Alex Hall, Polly!). Similar to RHOC to much focus on drama for dramas sake. Hopefully Netflix takes the trash out next season as bullying and sl*tshaming women is not entertaining viewing.
