American Pickers star Frank Fritz’s father and friends battle over his estate
Frank Fritz
In a developing legal dispute, William Fritz, father of the late American Pickers star Frank Fritz, has filed a petition in Iowa to contest his son’s will.

He is seeking to have a jury determine the distribution of the estate; estimated at $6 million.

Frank Fritz, renowned for his role alongside Mike Wolfe on the History Channel’s American Pickers, passed away on September 30, 2024, at 60.

The late reality TV star’s battle with addiction and other issues led to his departure from the series and friction with Mike.

However, the pair amended their relationship before his death and his longtime friend was at his deathbed in the hospital.

Mike’s death followed a debilitating stroke in July 2022, which led to a conservatorship and guardianship arrangement due to his impaired decision-making capacity.

Frank Fritz
When Frank Fritz passed away last fall, he had amassed a fortune left in his estate and filed a will with the court system sometime before his death.

As Monsters and Critics reported, Frank Fritz passed away from complications from a stroke that he had in 2022, and his battle with Crohn’s disease did not help things.

Frank was best known for his role in American Pickers, the long-running History Channel show featuring him and Mike Wolfe.

Frank left American Pickers after his health battles, and a fight with Mike Wolfe became too much for the beloved antique dealer.

Before his passing, Frank had a last will set in place, one he even recorded with the court system in Iowa through his lawyer, The Sun reported, but now it is back before a judge.

Frank’s will, entered into the court system and reviewed by a judge, was accepted on...

Netflix adding 26 new movies and shows this week
Image
This week brings romance and plenty of it to your favorite streaming service. This is the week when our corporate overlords compel you to buy tons of candy and flowers to prove your love. It was as if putting up with their shenanigans all year wasn't proof enough.

Don't worry, there's more than romance in store. The week kicks off on Sunday one lonely debut, a basketball comedy. That seems like an odd bit of counter-programming to the biggest annual sports event in the U.S., but nobody asked me. Monday brings a trio of war movies along with the debut of a three-part miniseries documenting a battle gone wrong. Happy stuff!

There's so much to see in this week's double baker's dozen of movies and shows. Spoiled alert for my own article: a few of the movies I've listed don't appear on Netflix's own site, but are shown as...
