Chris Vaughn actually finished writing the first draft of the screenplay on the 5th of November of 2021.
Chris Vaughn researched and studied the topics of "marriage, cults and church history" extensively prior to production and had lengthy discussions with Christian Pastor and Author Dr. Joseph Webb about the subject of Christian Marriage.
The original/working title for the film was cast as "B.Y.O.B" and was a reference to the play on "bring your own beer" that Christian's use for gatherings where they want everyone to "bring your own bible."
This is the first film ever filmed at Kevin Smith's (Clerks, Dogma) private Studio in Leonardo, New Jersey, USA.
