This series shows how dispatchers work to help others daily through calls while also highlighting how the workers depend on eachother to get through tough calls, as they are also humans and some of the situations they have to deal with are traumatic. This shows a real life experience in the dispatch center, how workers help others and eachother. Love it! If you ever worked dispatch or triage you will instantly connect on this show, the need for the silliness inbetween calls to keep eachother on point is so true!

This new series approaches crime and emergencies from the viewpoint of the people working in a 911 crisis center. In the first episode we meet several of the dispatchers and see them dealing with difficult situations. It's easy to like these people, and we do find ourselves getting involved in the problems they are dealing with as they take calls. This different approach to storytelling is refreshing. I look forward to seeing more series episodes.
The show features an actual 911 call center and the employees working there. The characters are genuine and adds to likeability. Each episode involves a small time period, like a holiday weekend or the happenings around a full moon. Calls range from ridiculous, not 911 worthy, to serious car accidents, and shoot outs. When calls come in, it reveals how things come together, with the start of the phone call. The small group of employees in the room work together to quickly get needed information, ascertain the services needed and provide support as needed. A true, UNSCRIPTED, reality show, exposes raw emotions in real time. It is a very interesting look into emergencies.

This series has me on the edge of my seat at times and at others it has me laughing my ass off. I know 911 calls are scary and obviously difficult and I can't imagine how much anxiety each of these dispatchers have when they're picking up the phone to these situations but they still manage to remain light-hearted and talk to each other. It is so nice to see this little family of dispatchers, their snarky comments and quick wits to each other reminds me of my family. To be honest these people are so good at what they do I'd feel safe if I knew when I call 911, that I was calling one of them. They do such a hard job, and yet they manage to stay human, it's wonderful to see. The way they focus on different people in each episode helps the audience get to know the dispatchers at work more and it's nice to see how different people work with different people. I think this is one of my favourite shows ever, cause I love watching things like Station 19 and The Resident but I'm not great with seeing blood so this is like perfect, I am glad I chose to watch this series, I can't wait for more to come out!
I was excited for this show be Asmus I really like Emergency Call on abc but somehow it's a lot less interesting to me. I don't know if it's the calls or the dispatchers but it's just not as good and seems forced.
Not a fan of this series. I watched several episodes of the first season. But began changing the channel whether it was on. The operators seem to put on a phony presence of added drama for the camera's. They do not appear completely genuine. Their side chatter and reactions they have about some callers is often unprofessional & better to be left behind closed doors rather than out in the public eye. They should be ashamed to let the public see and hear how they make fun of callers. I enjoy watching the Oxygen channel but become very disappointed when I see it on the schedule and change the channel immediately.

Don't waste your time. It's just like the 1000's of work place shows where many situations are staged, the people profiled on the show are extremely aware of the cameras on them, and they act like they aren't aware, then say or do something to make sure they get on the show. You can feel the forced drama to the point you just need to switch it off. The show is for the reality show simpleminded set and it brings absolutely nothing to what the true reality of what a 911 call center is .
Utter garbage.
Utter garbage.
I don't understand, is this show trying to mock legit 911 operators? LOL, I had to turn it off half way through the pilot.
So glad I don't live in that area of Ohio.

The call handlers on this show would not be employed anywhere outside of the US. They are rude, pass remarkable and VERY unprofessional in their attitude to callers. Everything that does not DIRECTLY impact the police is treated with disdain. On one show a caller reports noise directly over his house, something hovering and " growling ". Now, ridiculous as that may sound to us, any call to a 911 centre, to idiot people who are not on the scene and have, as yet, no clue to what is going on SHOULD be at the very least be treated with respect. This could be a caller with mental health issues. Like the numerous callers reporting " strange lights in the sky, who are similarly rudely commented on by the imbecilic call handlers. NONE of these people would be employed in such a job in the UK or Europe. Want to know what is intrinsically wrong with America? Watch these self centred idiots.

This show is terrible. To make fun of callers that have legit emergencies is absolutely ridiculous. Whoever is in charge of this show and the operators should be ashamed of themselves to allow this on national television!! They make fun of callers, mock them and they are very rude to callers as well. Every single one of you should be ashamed and I hope you get the life you all deserve!! They all need more training and apparently need to go back to kindergarten where they are taught manners and respect. Your mothers should be ashamed of you as well!! Pathetic. How would yall feel if someone in your family was treated this way?

Horrible lady not taking kidnapping seriously I can't believe this is on TV this is disturbing and sad. These woman at dispatch center are horrible and have bad attitudes. Every call should be taken seriously and then they tell people on TV that the caller shouldn't have called because they were drunk. You don't say things like that on TV. Do your job people! I don't care about there lives either. Watching them get married ECT. Who cares. There not heros! All of the woman in here taking calls act like they don't want to be there, it's gross. Can't say enough bad things about this show. Please remove from tv.
