Its great seeing Tucson/Southern Arizona locations being used so well for the setting of the story! A very colorful cast of characters, and a good tale of navigating through one of life's biggest moments, A Tuesday Wedding is well shot, well acted, and well edited!
Kathleen Cannon as Lily is the bride-to-be of the film and has to navigate the hectic process of planning the wedding with family members vying for a way to participate that may be driving her crazy... she feels like the most relatable character as we see the most interaction between her and her family and understand how difficult this type of event can be. Her chemistry with Jeffrey Baden and Demeroutis is strong and you really want to see her character make it to the finish line!
Jeffrey Baden as Elliot is a fun whimsical guy whom you can't help but get behind. He plays a character whom makes a living in product commercials and always finds a way to sneak in a reference to them! When things hit a rough patch between Lily and Stella, he proves he is still loyal to his wife-to-be Lily when the misunderstanding with Stella seems to have grown out of control. Superb acting throughout!
Alex Demeroutis as Stella struggles with finding a place in her own family, and has a type of rivalry with her sister Lily (Kathleen Cannon). Thinking Lily has had the easy life, she plays a world traveler whom seems to use this as means of escape from her life to find her identity.
The rest of the cast do well to add complexity, humor, frustration, and believability to the story as they help or hinder the path of the soon to be married couple! I also appreciate the film starting and ending in the same location. Altogether a nice independent film!
