Yet another LMN movie with the usual attractive cast, silly plotline, and an ending you can figure out about 30 minutes before the ending.
(Note: If you read the LMN Schedule online, a major plot point is revealed.)
However, the movie is the typical "Who Done It" and it had me guessing that until (you guessed it) 30 minutes before the ending. To that end, this was pretty good.
As this is in the LMN Universe, you will see:
1. A mature, educated woman being connived by a not-too-smart sleazebag man.
2. A psycho neighbor nosing in on your business, then getting violent later on.
3. A teenage "Lolita-esque" character being more interesting than the lead.
4. A ridiculously over the top ending with silly dialogue and acting.
Not Oscar material, but a really fun watch,
6/10.

If you are lucky enough to live in a state where cannibis is legal, then this is the movie to see. Get completely wasted and watch it. If you don't have weed available then down a couple of shots of hard liquor first. Whatever you do, don't watch it sober.
The script seems like it was written in a book of Mad Libs. The characters are so weak it is pathetic. I had to keep reminding myself the the lead woman character was a professional who owned her own company. She should have had the word "Needy" tattooed on her person.
How nobody spotted the leading man as a maniac is the real mystery.
All the characters needed mental help. The neighbors needed straight jackets.

Where was the original plot of the movie? Okay like I get the set up and I really wanted it to work because the premise was interesting. However, nothing really went anywhere! Every plot line that was introduced just... stopped. First she was friends with Laura and then they hated each other? The bookie coming and going only twice randomly? Why didn't ole girl report the woman who was murdered like you think that would be a key piece of evidence. It should have been called "trapped with my husband, but we have no real plot so let's just stretch it for as long as it can go." Like seriously...what even was that movie? XD I did watch until the end however so a wavering 3 stars.
My gosh you couldn't of put together a goofier looking couple. Why other people were so obsessed with these two very unattractive, un sexy boring duo is beyond me. A loser husband. A clueless loser wife makes this movie more of a comedy than a thriller. This whole movie was a laugher from beginning to the end. And why don't any of these expensive homes in LMN movies ever have security systems that work, or have them period? Whomever played Melissa and Kevin need different professions. They were monotone "blah, blah, blah" the whole movie. And Kevin just walking up and killing a woman in the street without even a sound?? Ugh!!
