When asking the police officer about a shark attack, the officer is named Brody, the same as the Sheriff in Les Dents de la mer (1975).
At 8:20, when Leonardo ( Eugenio Derbez) wake up, he shows Kate (Anna Farias) a tattoo of Speedy Gonzales, and do a little of his voice. Eugenio Derbez is scheduled to do the voice of Speedy Gonzales in the future Looney Tunes movie.
In episode 82 of the podcast What's The Tee?, RuPaul brings up a conversation with Anna Faris about Goldie Hawn and suggests that she should remake Un couple à la mer (1987).
