The Girl in Cabin 13: A Psychological Horror

The acting and dialogue are painfully wooden. They drag out all of the horror movie clichés, making the story feel both predictable and aimless at the same time. This is not even entertaining in a bad horror movie kind of way. It is distractingly bad. Please save yourself the time and find something else.

The dialogue is even worse, with lines that are so contrived and unbelievable that they elicit unintentional laughter from the audience.

The plot is also incredibly cliché, with a group of young adults heading off to a remote cabin for a weekend of partying and fun, only to be terrorized by a mysterious figure who seems to be out for blood. The twists and turns of the story are so predictable that even the most naive viewer will see them coming a mile away.

The film's production values are also disappointing, with cheap special effects that look like they were done on a budget of a few dollars. The camera work is uninspired, with no sense of style or flair. I've seen people slack off at work, basically phoning it in and now that has made its way into current day Hollywood. The writing was unrealistic and the acting equally as bad. If you see a man in a scary clown mask while hiking in a secluded cabin retreat, then the man chases you, and you do absolutely nothing about it...no cops, no plan to leave, and you don't even tell your girlfriend and you go about your day as if nothing happened. That's just one of many absolutely atrocious scenes in this movie. It was not scary, in the least. I was generous giving this one star. Watch at your own peril as you can't ever get your time back.

I like stupid low budget horror flicks. Not a lot happening but I guess if you're easily scared, may be worth a peek. The issues I see wrong, is there's no back-story to the masked men or why they do what they do.

The second issue is that, the gal has potential as an actress. The guy does not. He's a terrible terrible actor. If she was with someone a bit more believable, it may hype the movie a bit more.

The soundtrack and music fit rather well. If it's a rookie director, it's great attempt. Take feedback from the people who've watched.

The actor in the devil mask, seems to only be in movies with house posters.

There is NO way these 9/10 reviews are real. This has got to be one of THE worst movies I have ever seen. The 'acting' was beyond bad, especially Brad, whoever that actor is. The girl was pretty horrible, too. Has zero range of emotions and even after horrible situation is still bragging later about how many 'hits' she has on her page.

Atrocious all around.
