There are several moments in Rabbit Trap when the boundaries between sound and space, dream and reality, begin to fray. Sound is not merely an element of the film’s atmosphere — it is its driving force, the unseen terror pressing in on the psyche of its characters. Bryn Chainey’s debut feature is a folk horror film, an erotic thriller, and an experimental meditation on the relationship between perception, memory, and fear. At its core, Rabbit Trap explores the eerie interplay between human connection, artistic obsession, and nature’s ability to resist control.

Everyone knows the sound of Kathleen Turner’s voice.
Her sexy, smoky rasp most famously gave life to Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and although that was her first animated role, it definitely wouldn’t be her last. A few years later, she voiced Malibu Stacy creator Stacy Lovell on The Simpsons. A few years after that, she became the voice of Hank Hill’s boss’ wife, Liz Strickland, on King of the Hill, who famously tried to seduce Hank. And her voice career continues today with a recent guest spot on Rick and Morty and with the upcoming animated film Animal Farm, based on the famous George Orwell novel.
It was her time on King of the Hill that we set out to talk about during a recent phone interview, but that inevitably led to a discussion about her voice career as a whole and how that...

April will be a "crazy" good month for Devil May Cry fans. The anime adaptation of Capcom’s popular hack-and-slash action series will soon arrive on Netflix.
The new anime adaptation of Devil May Cry will premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2025. In addition to the release date, Netflix revealed the series’ opening theme song. Set to the 2000 Limp Bizkit song "Rollin'," the opening theme song for Devil May Cry is a highly stylized animated sequence of a young Dante doing what he does best: wiping out demons while enjoying a nice slice of pizza. The opening theme also features nods to the video game series, such as the appearance of White Rabbit.

Across the span of seven anime seasons and counting, My Hero Academia has introduced viewers to an entire industry's worth of pro heroes, with a select few being the most powerful and important, such as the symbol of peace, All Might. But the hero industry can't be made up entirely of heroes of All Might's and Endeavor's caliber. It also needs everyday pro heroes like Manual to fill in the ranks, and heroes like Manual should not be underestimated.
It's true that heroes in Manual's league could never defeat the strongest villains, nor will they ever be serious contenders for the top 10 in the Japanese pro hero charts. Still, Deku's world doesn't need everyone to be symbol of peace tier, and everyday heroes like Manual have more appeal than viewers might expect. Best of all, no matter their modest combat power, heroes like Manual still have unique gifts that shine at the right moment,...

Could Disneyland's Roger Rabbit ride be on the way out and a new replacement in the works? There's evidence it could happen!
It's no secret that Disney has a habit of remaking some older rides. It's the nature of the business as they want to keep things fresh and with very few exceptions, just about every ride in Disneyland has been altered from opening day.
One interesting case is Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. The dark ride has been the central attraction of the Toontown area since that expansion opened in 1993. Based on the 1988 hit Who Framed Roger Rabbit, it's a fun attraction, sending guests spinning through Roger and his friends tangling with enemies.
The ride has retained a following even if it's been shifted a few times over the years. Most recently, in 2021, Jessica Rabbit got a makeover that added a raincoat over her famed body for a detective character.

Sarah Snook is stuck in a twisted game of hide and seek with the daughter she thought she knew.
The “Succession” actress leads Daina Reid’s feature directorial debut “Run Rabbit Run,” which premiered at 2023 Sundance. Snook plays Sarah, a mother and fertility doctor whose own daughter Mia’s behavior drastically becomes more and more unhinged upon her seventh birthday. A surprise pet rabbit present unlocks Mia’s (Lily Latorre) memories of a supposed past life, and sending Sarah down a rabbit hole of horror.
Damon Herriman and Greta Scacchi also star.
Director Reid has previously helmed episodes of “The Shining Girls” and “The Handmaid’s Tale,” both starring Elisabeth Moss who was once attached to “Run Rabbit Run.” The script is penned by Australian novelist Hannah Kent, with an original idea developed by Carver Films. Anna McLeish and Sarah Shaw of Carver serve as producers, with Snook executive producing along with director Reid.

As the WGA looks to meet up with the AMPTP over some serious demands, we asked Adapted Screenplay Jojo Rabbit Oscar winner Taika Waititi tonight what his thoughts were on what writers should be asking for in the next round of talks.
After telling us quite seriously at the Wgae Awards last weekend, where he also won Best Adapted Screenplay, that “The last big negotiation [in 2007] was just as streaming was on the table. It is the platform and it’s where we all make our bread and butter now. So we have to re-negotiate,” Waititi launched into a hysterical rant in the press room about…keyboards.
“Flexo-keyboards, though they’re impossible to write on, they’ve gotten worse. And then you’re back to PCs. PC keyboard is way better on your fingers,” he said.
“As laptops get newer and newer, the latest new iMac, keyboards are worse. I’ve...
