I think this anime is pretty good for the most part, it's not too corny or too cringe but it has its moments. I also feel like it has a very similar plot to most anime's, so it is not a very unique story line. This anime definitely caught my attention, I felt like I would be able to watch this fully without getting bored if I didn't have any other anime to watch. The first episode had me bored out but it took awhile for me to get interested. I know the main character is described as villainous but I do not seem why because she seems nice to everyone around so it is definitely taking awhile for the plot to merge.
Watched the first episode to see if it was worth watching, the title is long which is interesting. The anime wasn't so crazy but it wasn't bad, it was pretty decent nothing special. The title was exactly what is going on in the show which plays a role when watching shows and understanding them. It was simple yet quite interesting, might watch a few more episodes but it's okay for the first episode. It could've been better because usually titles play an important role when watching. This anime isn't as hyped as I anticipated but either way it could be enjoyable for others. In conclusion, I'd give it a 6/10 rating overall.

It was very different compared to the other animes I've watched. The first episode pretty much explained the title and set the plot of the show. I kinda got bored throughout it but I forced myself to continue watching it. It was pretty simple for the most part, it's your typical anime. I think it could've had more entertaining parts to it. I was not expecting the parts in the anime to actually be in the show but I actually liked it. I wouldn't rewatch it, so it was definitely a one time thing. It was one of those animes that if that was the only thing to watch then I would pick that anime. Overall it just wasn't for me but I somewhat enjoyed it.

This isekai series is centred on Aileen Lauren d'Autriche, a woman who has been reincarnated into the world of a video game she once played. One day she gets the memories of her previous life back and realises her character is destined to die at the hands of demon lord Claude Jean Ellmeyer... she comes up with a plan to survive this fate; she will get him to fall in love with her! Inevitably she will face various challenges along the way.
I thought this was an okay but ultimately forgettable series. The title and general idea automatically brings to mind 'My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!'... which is unfortunate as that was a much better series. It started well enough, with early episodes that got be interested. Unfortunately as the story progressed it gripped me less and often I found my mind wandering. Perhaps it will be better now the whole series is out and one doesn't have to wait a week between episodes. Overall I wouldn't say this is a must see but equally I wouldn't say it was terrible; if you are a fan of the genre try a few episodes and see what you think.
These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

It is nothing special nothing really goes on it would be nice to binge it's one of those you can binge on a rainy day. The main character is a female who is nice to her family and to everyone. I don't get how she is villainous I did not see a lot of that at all. It has an older love interest in it if you are into that type of stuff. She needs him to go to a dance with her. The animation is good basing it off color I would personally not watch it fully but that is just me. It was nice to see a female strong and who can protect herself it is rare to see that in this type of anime it'd nothing special.

I had low expectations but was surprised how good the first episodes were. I did expect it to drop in quality but I have to admit it's a great TV series right up to its 12th episode. It's not perfect as it's filled with plot holes, but by golly it's entertaining nonetheless.
I suspect one reason why its so good is there are three main story-arcs all compressed into 123 episodes. This means there is almost no fillers and the plot progresses in a brisk manner. You are never bored, although when you are in the last main story-arc you do expect it to be a repeat of the 1st, thus may have less enthusiasm, but they do a reasonable twist at the end.

This anime does show what an industrious mind can accomplish in a character and as a writer. It is short and sweet for most episodes. Adding in a healthy amount of funny of course. The Demon Lord falls little flat as a character but I imagine in the manga his character gets much more screen time as it were to show off his personality more. The supporting characters are good and not at all forgotten as a side cast. Which is surprising considering how many of them there are and how randomly they pop up in the story. Though all of these side stories are easily solved in an episode or two they do build to help the main story line. The comedy is simple. The character arcs are good. The plot is actually very interesting, given the route the writer decided to take.
Overall, easy to watch and enjoy for some no thinking time in your day.

I liked this anime, it was nice to watch, nice pacing, nice story and interesting plot. However, the said-to-be Villainess was not evil. At least not real evil in my opinion. I did expect her to be true evil but it just feels like a switch of naming for the Hero as Villainess in the story. If you swap it, you basically have a normal anime story. Despite that it was still entertaining for the most part - until the last two episodes. These feel rushed and unpolished. The endfight did not satisfy my expectations; it was more of a stick fight with tons of plot armor and unnecessary lengthened. Other than that, I enjoyed watching.

I would give this show a rating 5 out of 10 because i think the whole plot could have been a little bit more different than all of the other shows, because it was almost the same plot as other shows. I also think if i would watch a few more episodes into this series then I would a get really bored. I also feel like for watching one episode into this series it just got really boring. Than the title is a little bit different than i expected. I really think the title just doesn't really match what was happening in the first episode. This anime is a little bit to over hyped in my opinion bit i think all anime is over hyped in my opinion.

Its nothing too special, but it definitely is one of those anime's you can binge watch on a lazy day. The main character is pretty nice with the whole female villainess thing since you never really see female villainess that are the main characters. It has an older historical setting which makes it nice if you are into those kinds of settings. The animation is pretty good considering the color scheme going on. I do not think I will personally be watching the entire thing, but thats only because it is not my cup of tea anime. It is nice to see the main character not being a woman who can't fend for herself like most animes portray woman. Overall its a pretty decent anime.

I have read and watched other shows and manga that have a similar plot. The plot is not very unique but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. If the formula works, then it works. It at least has a bit of a spin to it. This specific show did not pull me in with the first episode. The animation was decent but not amazing for an anime. It seems to be your typical otome isekai romance at first glance which is not necessarily wrong with all of the similar tropes that the genre has which is one of the problems with it. However, that is also one of the things about the genre that can make it addicting because if you find a good one that you truly enjoyed and want something similar than this type of show is meant for you. It hits all of the right spots with a female villainess mc, a historical setting, being an isekai, more specifically it being an otome isekai, some magic sprinkled in, classes of nobility and royalty, and of course the show being romance. Overall it is a solid 6/10 and you should consider watching if you are into the otome isekai genre.

But watching this anime I was kinda getting into and this is a anime ill watch over & over like hunter x hunter or Naruto. Thais just in my opinion. It may seem different to you this just what I like and i like this anime even though i only watch the first episode for a class at school. I might look into it when im at home just because it. Just caught my eye a little bit but thats besides the point i think this is a anime real anime fans would like cause it just seems great!!!

I really wanted to like this show so I gave it a try despite not being that interested after episode 1. At first it was decent enough, I enjoyed the 2 MCs interaction, despite some cliche and cringe stuff. But halfway, God, it just became too hard for me to watch. I really can't enjoy it anymore. The pacing is soooo bad, the direction horrible, the supporting and side characters look so bland, boring and forgettable. I told myself I'll do my best to finish all episodes, but I just can't. Dropped it around episode 7 ( story arc is so cliche, events are too predictable, characters has no substance at all). Still give it a 6 for Claude.

For my humble opinion its rate is very low it deserves much higher. Story is not so origianl but timeline of story is diffrent from other isekai animes. The the romance is warm and feels true, the both progonist are alfa, especially Alieen, but Claude is very sweet to her and also so many handsome ikemens in there and they feel strong admiration to her. In this way, the series likes reverse harem animes but not like entirely because Alieen made her choise in the begining,. She has kinda masculine chactacter but at the same time she is feminen and shy also. But no doubt she is a leader. I think fun to watch:)

One prince's trash is another's treasure.
ITVSITTFB starts great. Overall,it never gets awful, but it drops to mid-level quality w/o recovering. Romantiphiles will be game for this, but for everybody else, it'll be lame. It opens at an ending. The Crown Prince (CP Cedric) is declaring to the entire hall that they're engagement is over. We're in the Elmir Empire. Cedric Jean Elmir has just made her the pariah of that empire. Dang. He was the main romanceable option! Huh? Where did that thought come from?
Based on manga & a light novel, ITVSITTFB is a 2022 Maho Film studios release that is rated 7.20 on MAL. It is 1 season consisting of 12 23-minute English dubbed episodes with CC available. It begins strongly enough. It's a good thing they built up credit in the first half because that credit carries the viewer through the second half.
This isn't unlike 7th Time Loop-7.9 (2024), which also springs from a bozo CP dumping our wonderful FL. It isn't unlike the isekai story: Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion-8.6 (2023), either. Those 2 shows took the concept and perfected it. The 2020 My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! X-6 is average and more suitable for kids, so Villainesses apparently get better over time. I'm currently watching Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord. Through halfway, it's 99 levels of fun. I 'spose I'll be watching 2024's 'I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History' next to continue the theme.
Wait. The CP is dumping her for Rainworth Lilia and he referred to her as Aileen... These are characters from a game she was obsessed with! She was sick - hospitalized - and games were all she had. Now it would appear that games are her life - literally! It isn't so much being spurned that's bothering our "Aileen". It's the fact that Aileen is the game's mean girl - The Villainess! That ain't fair! She's no Villainess!
She exits the grand hall without HIS Grace, but WITH grace. She will not let them see her cry! Now to what's most important: Surviving. Aileen is a character who doesn't survive the game, but THIS Aileen WILL live on. She's decided. In the game, Aileen dies when the Demon Lord awakens. Then the heroine (Lilia, the prince stealer) defeats him. Hmmmm. Easy. She'll prevent that Demon Lord (DL) from waking up. Onward!
Her next move might be too simple. She naively approaches the DL's castle and demands an audience. At first, it's crickets... But then the door bursts open and there HE is. Long, flowing, luxurious hair, ruby eyes, and a face like a porcelain doll: He's prettier than she! "How dare he (Elmir Claude Jeanne, Cedric's brotherΒ·Β·Β·/half/ brother) how dare he just stand there looking beautiful?" "What business does a human have with me?" He demands to know. What-business, indeed. Aileen never tipped us off as to what she was planning, so it's a little unexpected, tbf. She proposes marriage to him. Then she faints.
Until now, Aileen's life was perfect ~ On paper ~ As a girl, she didn't have the opportunities, education, or training that her brothers did, though. It made her feel worthless. The first time she felt like she was worth anything was when she became engaged to Cedric. She committed herself to train, study, and prepare to be the best empress possible. She developed a voracious appetite for improvement. She learned that doesn't win over many friends. Jealousy seemed to be the most common reaction. Before long, she was subjected to snark and envy from her schoolmates. They started to treat her like a villainess.
Back to the DL's castle. When Aileen wakes up, she hears a snippet of the conversation between DL and his 2 aides, Belzebuth (Bel) & Eigrid Keith. 1. They're confused as to why he didn't kill Aileen. 2. They're shocked that he healed her injuries. 3. They believe she's likely a spy. She makes her second play for a lifelong commitment then, but DL insists he's not interested. He is, quite obviously, very flustered. He zapped her straight back home.
At home, her invitation to Cedric and Lilia's engagement ball just arrived at the house. It's in 2 months. This is no time for timidity! She goes straight back to DL's Castle, this time bearing cookies. She asks DL to escort her to the ball. While she's in the middle of her process she realizes the DL is very distracted. He's missing a creature - a pet, of sorts, Almond the crow. She agrees to help recover the poor thing. "Don't fail me," he warns. What Aileen took from the exchange is the realization that this is the first time anybody's ever relied on her for anything. It feels pretty good. She doesn't want to disappoint him.
Her mission is successful, but her actions are misunderstood by onlookers, including her schoolmates and Cedric. Let's not forget Lilia. As Aileen is being berated and accused afresh, DL shows up, gets on one knee to thank her, and offers her a ride home. And his ride is one pimped out carriage. It flies! As ep1 draws to a close, he has two parting shots: He agrees to take her to the engagement ball, and he then says "I would very much like to see you cry." HUH?
In the game the DL is betrayed which upsets him so much that he loses control and transforms into his dragon form, at which point the sword maiden (Lilia) kills him. It would appear that Lilia and Prince Cedric are plotting to set up DL so that they can kill him sooner. Why leave it to chance? In the game, it was villainess Dautriche Aileen Lauren who betrayed the DL and caused his demise, but Aileen is no longer a villainess. She has no intention of mistreating him; she just wants to use him a smidge.
Now, when she's at his castle, he's so agreeable! He'll agree to almost anything. She now tends to come to his place whenever she's facing static at home; she has nowhere else to go. And she's always facing static. Cedric is messing with her business, her belongings, and her family's finances. Her father won't show it, but he's clearly desperate. She needs to make money! She presents an elaborate plan to DL. He agrees to ALL of it! She starts surveying the grounds that very week when she runs into a reporter. The skies suddenly darken and rain pelts them in the middle of their pleasant chit-chat. 'So it is true about the DL's mood affecting the weather,' the reporter mumbles as he narrowed his gaze onto Aileen. Whatever could be darkening the DL's mood? It was sunny and bright out before she started conversing with that reporter...
By ep4 they are engaged. He's then called away to do some work. Already excessively protective, he believes it's too dangerous, so he refuses to take her. She, in turn, has a mini tantrum and says that she will not accept any visits from him. He's going to have to do his time away /alone/. The reason she came up with this rule is because she's going to disguise herself as a boy and enroll in the academy right next to where the DL will be working. She'll just lay low and observe.
Or not. On the very first day, she generates a scandal by helping a girl fend off her abusive boyfriend, and thus, makes an enemy immediately. She then meets the student council and decides that she wants to be part of it. The president is not impressed. In order to join them, she, I mean he (Aileen is disguised as male student, Aly) HE will have to prove himself by figuring out what happened in a recent attack on a young woman. It appears to have been done by a vampire, but everyone thinks it's likely a demon attack.
Aileen goes duck-amuck at school. To get her investigative task force running, she needs the Duke to sign off on it. The Duke is away, though. The next person who would have the authority to approve documents is the DL working at the castle next door. She pushes the paperwork at him while wearing a duck mascot plushie suit. She can't let him know his fiance has enrolled as a male student at the school, afterall! Even wearing a duck suit, she gets under his skin. All his senses sense something's off. This duck is up to no good. He's certain of it! In the meantime, the DL has been writing Aileen very passionate letters. It's adorbs.
The way things go down at school make it look like there's a villain in the background moving characters like...well, like /game pieces/. Why did Aileen assume she was the only tourist in this world? She now believes she's not the only player, and the other player plays rough. The other player is deadly.
After the school motif concludes they go into the weakest link of the show: The Amnesia Arc. It's not great. DL can't remember Aileen and wants to cancel their engagement. Aileen must make him fall for her again. The entire royal family is working against her, this time. Lilia, too.
The art is average. I'm tempted to say mediocre, but perhaps it isn't that poor. It's flat and simple. The backgrounds almost look like outlines, at times. Aileen has weird brown lashes that look terrible & are slightly tarantula-like. It's among some of the worst anime art I've seen. Still, there's hokey that I like and there's hokey that I don't like. Everybody is entitled to h/h own form of mindless entertainment. I like this hokey show, at least the 1st half, but it really is silly.

It's possible I've just been slogging through too many animes with no plot and passive heroines, but I loved this.
It was surprisingly funny, the plot moved, I loved the power couple that are the Villainess and the Demon King. And I was into the mystery and plot twists. I'm also not a huge fan of the rpg style but this was done very well.

It is one of the best anime I have seen. I love this anime. The part which attracted me the most was the strong female protagonist who can handle things on her own. The female character is my favourite character of all time. She is strong, smart and very determined rather than the other weak girls in other anime who cries for help and wait for the hero to come and save them. The female protagonist shows that women can be strong and smart as well as feminine too. For this reason the anime become more interesting to me. The story line is also good and the animation is so fantastic .Totally in love with this anime.
If you love royalty/ historical romance give it a try. Totally recommended.
