Such a slow show with a very bland murder plot. The mix of drama and game show doesn't work in this instance.
The phrasing of the victim's script takes you totally out of the vibe. The audience is getting a very different view to what the contestants see which makes what they're inquiring about null and void.
Go and find the BBC's Murder Game from 2001 if you want a show like this to watch.

I'm surprised Ian Rankin left his name on this substandard whodunnit. The murder mystery storyline was linear and boring. The gameshow element was flabby and unconvincing. The real life experts were left looking out of their element. The only kudos goes to the actors who presumably had to improvise and give only the required clues. I watched all six episodes in case it got better. It didn't.
Was really excited when I heard about this show and that the story was written by Ian Rankin. The first episode I managed about 20 minutes before I turned it off. The acting is terrible. It makes the whole show a struggle ro watch. The 'detectives' are laughable, I know they're meant to be civilians but come on.
Only one episode in and I don't know how it's going to go.
The "real people" tying to solve the crime are a mixed bag but the actors hold it together.
It's a different sort of TV, but in a world of reality s**t it's a welcome change!
I will be watching the rest... For the record... I think the young chap in the beanie hat did it...

You could tell the winning team 2 minutes into the show starting. As for who done it, you'l have to watch. Another P. C box ticker im sad to say. Iv watched worse tho.
Totally addicted. The scenery is beautiful and story line gives you a LOT to process and think about. It's cleverly written, so many motives and you are drip fed important leads to follow up. This is not going to be an easy quick one to solve. I feel we are going to be guessing right up to the end who did the killing and why. Definitely worth watching if you like crime dramas and puzzles. Ignore the bad reviews. Give it a watch, you won't regret it one bit.

IT has a very ntriguing plot, with credible and well constructed characters. Roles are good and naturally acted, very subtle, a very good direction is assumed. Good photography too. I'd recommend this to anyone into whodunnits.

Excellent program. As a lover of murder mystery, the whole dynamics of this program has turned it on its head. Strict police procedures, but acting a made up murder is genius, with enthusiastic armchair detectives. Congratulations to the person who had the concept deserves an award. Can't wait to the end. Please who ever make more of these. Excellent.
