Like watching a train wreck. Jeremy is a believable criminal with a heart of gold. Strong personal code that transcends morality. Reckless, bold and doesn't mind doing the dirty work for the police department.
Emma Laird (Iris) breaks my heart in every scene. She's dead inside, yet she continues to breath and live because she's brave enough to believe that life is still worth living. Her body is battered and self worth is destroyed, yet she continues to exist when most people would have slit their wrists or eaten a bullet. Complex.
Season finale is building up to be something special.

After a 'holding pattern' episode this episode came back with a vengeance. Clarke Johnson, who appeared in 'The Wire' and directed several episodes, including the finale, directs this one. The result is the best episode of the series, thus far.
The writing (Taylor Sheridan) is about as adult as it gets, with no lazy, implausible coincidences used as writer's crutches.
Incredibly strong performance from Jeremy Renner and a particularly good one from Emma Laird. As an extra bonus-no Dianne Wiest (love the actress, despise the character).

The beauty of this episode is that we get to learn a bit more about some of the main characters on the show particularly Mike(Renner) & Iris(Liard). The pace of the entire episode is just right. The writing, the score, the acting, the cinematography - everything is near perfect. This episode will definitely go down as one of the best on the show.
Damn this episode was easily the best so far. The chemistry between mike and iris was lit. The actress who played iris was standout of the episode. Hoping to get more from this two.

The costume department needs a little help. The Corporal-Captain-Colonel-General is a little annoying. They need to pick one rank and stick with it. He's got Corporal stripes on his sleeves, Captains bars on his collar and epaulettes, and a Colonels eagle and General stars on his chest.

- TriviaThis is the second movie/series where Jeremy Renner has had to remove a tracking device from a body with a knife. He also did it to himself in The Bourne Legacy.
- GoofsRob Kirkland's character is wearing Captain's bars on his collar and epaulets and is also wearing Corporal chevrons on his sleeves.

Mike McLusky: If I'm gonna go to prison, it's gonna be for something I fucking did, you understand me? And you have my word, I'm gonna do it to you.
