It was nothing like the anime they didn't even get the names of the characters right. This is a disgusting cash grab. The characters were so bland, didn't have any depth, and the plot has been severely changed to my displeasure. I would suggest all of you to watch the original it is so much better and it has me watching it multiple times as opposed to this which I could barely finish the first episode. They even went as far as to removed my favorite character and replaced her with some basic lifeless husk of the former character who is now only defined by an overused trope. I gave a 1 but If I could I would give this a 0 rating which is also the amount of time you should waste on this.
The importance of this show is finding the right two people that could make a genuine match. Many other reality love shows thrive on drama and contention, and can be seen to match people who genuinely will clash in time. This show also has a spice of drama/contention that the producers thought was important, but the feeling was that they were honestly trying to make two people match and fall in love. Personally, I feel a 'feel good' dating show is long overdue, and this one has alot more feel good moments than contention moments. Would have loved to have seen a complete series of feel good episodes for once, but I guess we'll never get that in the reality TV world. In essence, I loved the concept of the show, which I feel really tried to match these two people genuinely.
After watching the first few minutes of Episode 1, I wanted to see more so I watched the next couple of episodes. I was hooked 100% and is the most heart tugging show you will ever watch. This is an emotional roller coaster that you just have to see and "The Future Diary" brings together 2 people who are supposed to be soul mates to see if they will fall in love according to a simple script they have to follow in the Diary. It is usually just 1 or 2 sentences so the rest is real interaction between the couples. However "The Future Diary" is also mean so things that happen just are tear jerkers and you just don't know how this is going to turn out with each couple - will they fall in love or will they not fall in love? You have to watch it!!
Pure n pretty, sweet n simple, lovely n lively, real n feels. I cried in every ep for joy n heartfelt moments. Really nice feel good slice of life with just enough drama to keep us wanting more. Maai's soooo pretty n Takuto's soooo lovely = genuine match. I could seriously watch them date, chat n chill a couple more seasons to follow their progression as years pass. Bonus on top is discovering Sekai No Owari. Thank you netflix.
